Just looked at the table, there is still a real chance we could get relegated, Corbys last two results have helped, but we really need another win or two, last nights performance was encouraging but we need a win !

Would not be surprised if Histon dont pick up any more points this season. Lucky that Colwyn have a tough run in

With both the Hinckley and Stalybridge games being the worst I've seen us play since Greene was in charge, I too would be surprised if we were able to pick up any points. With Waters out injured our only striker is Jack Sessions... who hasn't scored for us in what must be at least 30 appearances for the club. I'd be surprised if we scored another goal this season, let alone pick up points. However, Colwyn Bay can only pick up 15 more points this season... and with fixtures against Gainsborough Brackley Oxford Workington Gloucester I can't see them picking up the 3 wins and a draw they need to be level on points with us out of that.
Don't forget noguru, we are a far better team than the table suggests, extend our form for the second half of the season across the entire year we'd easily be in the top half of the table... it was only Greene's awful managerial skills that means we are where we are. However what can't be argued against is our now toothless attack. Taaffe (Who's never been and never will be an out and out goalscorer)... who else? Levi when he's fit... beyond those two wingers we've got no-one else. Claudiu's injured (really hope he's here next season), Matty's injured, Paxman is awful, Charlie Day is a left footed CM playing wide right, Jack Sessions hasn't scored for the club in about 3 years. 3 weeks ago it looked like a case of how high up the table we could finish... now with Kaine recalled and injuries it looks like we're doomed to finish 4th from bottom. And maybe only by the skin of our teeth. Which doesn't reflect on the ability of most of our squad... ignore the first half of the season when this team actually wasn't being played and it was those useless articles Greene brought in, and then ignore the last 5 games due to the fact we only have one competent attacking player on the pitch... we're mid-table easily. Unfortunately no potential new signings (If there are any) are going to see it like that are they...

Colwyn bay cannot beat Droysden at home and Corby get hit for 6 at Hinckley so I think we will be ok on default.

we need a player that can hold the ball up untill the midfield can get up, with Zak surpluss to requirements, why not put him up front, he is strong, quick, can head it,and has quick feet ?

Noguru, your last 3 posts have all been variants on "You won't get any more points this season". You're like a broken record mate... (For the record... as I've already said, I agree with you. I think it's ridiculous we're in this position... thanks to Dennis Greene and not having a striker. Not even a decent striker... just ANY striker please?)

I personally think His ton will stay up. Corby are the worse team I have seen this season. Colwyn Bay away to Brackley on Tuesday is a vital game certainly more interesting at the bottom than the top.

Firstly lets put an end to these negative vibes being put around in various posts, some of the players may or may not view this forum and it it damaging to say the least to their young minds
What you have to take into account is the horrendous start to the season and these young braves have soldiered on to the best of their young ability, look at the ages across the whole team and compare with all the other teams in the league, some would say men against boys, and the boys ain't doing too bad, the look on the opposition faces the other week when Matty came on given he looks younger than his years was wtf, and when he went down injured the concern they showed cos they believed he was younger
Richens from Peterborough has been excellent and he is just 18 by a few months, and a good yardstick for others to measure themselves against, some current team members are more skilful than him and shows that given the opportunity similar to those afforded to jack, Matty and nick they too can make it at a higher level
You will find it hard to build a perfect team at any level in any sport, there are strengths and weakness throughout that's why it is a team game
I can assure you each and every member of the team is trying their hardest and if anything need support and encouragement as opposed to slagging off from armchair experts, I can assure you if a team of "experts" were put together and took the field against even the under 14's they would wipe the floor, unless you have played the game or been involved at a level higher than pub team, I suggest more moral support than what is being offered thus far
Wise up one and all and be positive

Dennis Greenes Boston could shut Bobby up and send us down.

...hmmm. Friends at Boston are suggesting the 3 match win run Dennis had to start was achieved without him tinkering with what was there already! Then he tinkered...and the results have changed...for the worse! Seems an intelligent analysis! But...if you apply that here.....where do the stats put Dennis's record upon leaving Histon and for his duration...and how does it bode for Brian...when applying the same analysis....in this potential end of season 'clash'?!x

Any news on the EMG Keith? John sent me an e-mail saying he had forwarded my offer to assist if required...X

Talking of relegation battles I bet FTM is a happy bunny after this weekend's big match in the
North-East.
