I read in the Cambridge News this morning that 4 targets turned down deals at the club...this probably means we're going to have to go really far down the leagues and try and find hidden gems and that's going to be difficult. Any thoughts?

It's difficult when even teams 2 or 3 steps below us can offer more than we can. It all depends on whether the player goes for money or ambition as Histon is a great shop window for players to play at a higher level of football. You could argue if we were a bit higher up the league then it is more appealing for players to join but I spose its a slightly vicious circle because we don't have the money to bring in one or two more players that would make the team just that little bit better which in turn would lift our league position. But at the same time I don't think I'd want money men or players who "aren't up for the fight" so to speak, in terms of our league position. To be honest I'm not overly concerned about new players coming in, as nice as it would be.
If we get Waters back soon (like right now preferably) plus built comes back, I think our good performances will pay off! Also anybody know what happened to Hunt? Played really well first game of the season but I know he got a really serious knock! Will he be available for any more fixtures and is he still with us?

Yeah good point, Built was in fantastic form before he got injured and before Libertucci got injured he was also in good form and Waters is obviously a proven goalscorer at this level. Yeah, what has happened to Hunt? Is he still at the club? He is a good central midfielder and I believe he will make more of an impact than Clunan and Hicks because of his good physical side of the game, so what's going on? There hasn't been any news on him since he got injured!

Peter Grant has returned on loan ! This is great news. From what I've seen of him, he is solid at the back and good in the air.
