Bit of a shame really because on his day he was a very skillful tricky player. Seem to remember him scoring a great solo effort against Bishop Stortford last year. I have heard though that this season he hasn't been quite as effective. The reason why he left? I'm only speculating but It might be cost cutting measures/making room for a forward to come in. Either way I'm sure we'll hear more from the club about it soon.
thoughts anyone ??

It may be that the Club just has to tighten its belt further. With only two home matches since the turn of the year, the lack of income must be having an effect.
Claudiu has spent a lot of time on the bench since he returned from injury, and I don't think I've seen the same spark in his play that was there when he first came in. Maybe it's just time to move on.

I think it was a straight choice between Nick or Claudiu and Brian has gone with the younger player, plus the pitch's at this time of year did not suit his style of play, you cannot run through mud unless your name is George Best. Great player on his day, I wish him all the best, he will be fantastic at that level.

Without too much sentiment attached claudiu has had is moments, but for me a bit hit and miss maybe trying too hard to impress when the simple was better, blighted by injuries which does not help, so maybe a break at a lower level might help him adjust if indeed his knee injury is holding him back with confidence.
Some are talking of this being an outlet for a fab new striker, what has happened with Matty Waters, only 5 mins first team time this year and one goal then off out on loan, he is by far the sharpest striker we have, I think we should be show casing the talents we have Matty, Nick, Sal sadly with a view to selling to generate income, or is the club hiding them away from the preying vultures knowing that they can be picked off for pennies at this level

So just watched the video and apparently he's on a duel registration which means we still retain his services! So good news for club, Corby and the man himself I'd say. Also agree about Matty Waters. Why he isn't playing is a mystery for me. I keep hearing how we're missing chance after chance, sometimes from about 6 yards out so why he's not back for us I don't know?

Claudio netted all 4 of corbys goals tonight as they went on to win 4-2. Good going for him and hopefully he can do that for us if/when he returns !

Superman, did he save a penalty as well! Amazing what a drop in level can do,it just shows what a hard job it is to find someone from a lower level to play well at this level.
