Did anybody in the stand opposite the Main Stand actually see what Nat did wrong for his second yellow? The referee was pretty bad, several shocking decisions both ways. I was amazed we got either penalty, didn't see Burton's penalty decision as I was at the other end. We will miss Nat's aerial threat. Maybe a chance for Jamie Barker to stake his claim in the team?

Just left a post in "talked to pope at the game" asking a similar question. I was in the stand directly opposite the incident and he was no where near the player, he just slid in to block the ball. Bobs your uncle and he's off...........useless Ref and lino's.
It has to be rescinded?

I'm not sure that is possible for second yellows. I think it's only straight red cards where that applies.

Both bookings were for nothing tackles - the first the Burton player fouled Nat if anything.

Yea Robbie Nightingale came off i think for Jack Midson. The referee was so poor yesterday i don't think anyone really knew what he was doing or what was happening!!

According to Fal on Radio Cambs afterwards, he reckons the 2nd booking was because the ball bounced of his knee onto his hand and gave it for handball.
Listening to the game via BBC Radio Derby's internet feed (here in Kuala Lumpur) it sounded like the ref had a shocker as was a bit of a prima donna, Burton should never have got back into the game and they reckon Dave Remnant is the loudest commentator ever!

There is a very good and balanced match report on the Burton web page. They also make the point that Nat was sent of for a deliberate handball? Not sure how that can happen on the half-way line when the ball was driven at him whilst he was sliding in? Check the report out - www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/match_report.asp?rfUID=176Deano

I was watching The Champinoship yestersday, and if that's how penalties are awarded in the Championship, then the ref was spot on. I saw at least 3 penalties being given that were almost exactly the same as in our match. Touch the guy and it's a penalty

Match report seems fair, not too sure about the 'bad challenge from Nat', I think you'll find the Burton player hurt himself after kicking Nat from the follow through of a clearance
