Very good performance, Danny Wright came on second half and changed the game. Defence (including Naisbitt) did well, no real threat coming from the Stortford strikers.
Good result lads, let's keep this up and hopefully we can beat Torquay 4-0 on the 9th August ;D

Good to see our pre-season preparations are going well. Heard that it was a good run-out (without being disrespectful to Bishops Stortford) for the lads.
Nice to see our connection with Stortford is still strong and long may it stay that way!

Some of the players looked a little way off their best, which is of course understandable considering it is only the second game back! My main plus points of the first half was Neil Andrews (great to see him back... again) Langston was quality @ the back (and also causic havoc, as ever, in the opponents box!) and Gwillim's set-pieces (they very rarely disappoint! I thought the second half had more positives though. Erkan looked very good at right-back (great covering when we only left one back for our attacking corners! and good at supporting our attacks too!), Robbie and Adie worked really well together linking play well. However, my main plus has to be Tyler Campbell! This lad was quality! I can't wait to see more of him in the coming season. He was on the right wing in the second half last night, and teamed up well with Erks. I really don't know much about Campbell though, does anyone else have any information about him? I am guessing he is an academy lad, but is right wing usually his position? Or can he be used as a striker too! Great work out for the lads, and a lovely KFC on the way home for us!

We were poor in the first half, and Stortford ran rings round us. We got a typical goal from a Gwillim set piece onto Langers' head.
Much better in the second half. Danny looked really strong and pacey, and caused them problems. His two goal did come courtesy of poor goalkeeping though. Great shot from Robbie for the fourth.
And Tyler Campbell looked a great prospect. He seems to have incredible pace and could scare the hell out of defenses. But in the BSP I think he may get knocked off the ball too easily as he has a small slight build. We played better in the second half with the young lads in, I think they have more to prove and play for.

Nicely summed up canterburystutes, good to hear about the good ol' KFC. Should come to more away games on the coach, Andy and Alex always make sure that we stop off at a KFC on the way home. Oh yes son!

Tyler Campbell reminds me of Aaron Lennon, wasn't too sure about his final ball and i also believe he would get knocked off the ball a bit Anyone agree?

With those four youngsters being given first team squad numbers and new signing, Damien Reeves, should be an interesting season. Also now gives us a large squad to choose from.

Seems that the idea of 'cutting down the size of the squad' isn't working!

We haven't lost any players, added five more, just another mid fielder needed.

Yes, we can't find one! Isn't there supposed to be someone from Kings Lynn we're looking at?
