Heard about the game, and kind of disappointed that we conceded 3 goals against a Spartan South Midlands Football League Premier Division team. <---god that was a mouthful!  But good to see that Damien got on the score sheet, three times! Well done lad, but still to see whether he can do that in the real time. (no disrespect to Biggleswade) |

First game i have ever seen where John Beck wasn't screaming the whole game, i didn't actually hear him once:O

i just assumed from the cam news site
the report on the game said the lad was ill so just assumed a new signing would otherwise start
how come there is a new board anyway? took me long enough to find it

It wasn't sweep! it really wasn't! We were shocking. I know it is only a pre season game, and it is important to get match practice, but we are still looking a fair way off pace. having said that, we still have a few games/weeks to get that right.
Rather than focus on the negatives, I will focus on the 'good stuff'...
The drive there was quite nice. But on a more serious note. Sparkes came on and looked really good, getting in some quality crosses from the left wing. The right-back on trial from Brentford was really good! Reeves took all of his goals well. The burgers were nice.
I think that is enough! There was enough good points to come out of the game, so it can't be said that it was a waste of time or anything

4 3 vs a side about 4/5 leagues below us? I wasnt there bu tit doesnt seem a great result. Although pre-season games are all about fitness and how we play as a team, that result seems far from good. And sweep please cut down on the needless comments   Also, bobby i dont know who or where the trialist, Landre Oyebango came from, but he seems to be half decent, quick along the wing, good on the ball, but his downfall, he doesnt head the ball!  |
