Landre is from Brentford or Barnet i think and was previously on the books at West Ham United, also i'm not sure if you all know but Steve Fallon told my dad that it was part of the training during the game to not use there heads in the Bishops Stortford game (well whilst defending.) One of Beck's genious idea's.

surely you would want your defenders to header it, Patrick Ada tried bringing the ball down and play it around yesterday and he ended up giving 2 goals away and nearly got naisbitt send off.

senT, not send Maybe he doesn't like us giving the ball away too easily and wants to minimise that. Didn't work though though by the sound of it!

Pat is prone to over playing at the back and giving the ball away in dangerous areas. There are times when booting the ball out of play is better than trying to keep possession. It probably drives John Beck crazy.

4 3 vs a side about 4/5 leagues below us? I wasnt there bu tit doesnt seem a great result. Although pre-season games are all about fitness and how we play as a team, that result seems far from good. And sweep please cut down on the needless comments Also, bobby i dont know who or where the trialist, Landre Oyebango came from, but he seems to be half decent, quick along the wing, good on the ball, but his downfall, he doesnt head the ball! HE DOES HEAD THE BALL! ;D the reason he wasn't heading the ball at bishop's stortford is becuase the players were told not to head it unless the ball was in the goal area's.... That's wot i heard someone talking about that night anyway...
