Copied from their message board posted here for your enjoyment... ;D 'FFS, Durham City or Histon?!?!?!' 'Fingers crossed we get some TV action, cause I for one cannot afford 2 travel to durham or histon. I would think you'd only get a few 100 away tickets to histon and durham play at the rugby stadium so theres a good amount that can fit in there. If people really want 2 travel that way. If Durham pull off a shock and beat histon in the replay then I think theres a good chance.' 'Histon, ..........No ****.' 'Durham would be a great trip. Make it a weekender with Sat night in Newcastle. Durham is a nice town (city by name). Histon is on the outskirts of Cambridge. I loved Histon when they scored their injury time winner against Poxford in some tin pot league of other. Histon have a good rivalry going with Cambrudge Utd - one of the 'Auld Farm' games.' 'will be keeping my fingers crossed we get Durham city A)because I know the town quite well have relatives up there and B)theres a better chance of it being the live game Also Brackley town made it through to the first round which is some achievement ' I'll keep updating so we can see more of their reactions

Oh, please note we are all keeping our feet firmly on the ground. We've a terrible record against non league in the FA Cup and in the last two years we've awkwardly struggled to beat Morecambe and Forest Green Rovers on our own turf. We just don't do well against teams in your division. I think most Swindon fans will tell you one of the worst moments we've had was in in '98 when we were in the Championship and lost to Stevenage.
We've got a good side with a manager who has split the fanbase. We can play good football and have quality going forward (particularly McNamee and Simon Cox who has 11 goals thus far) but we've been horribly let down by terrible goalkeeping and a whole host of defensive errors. I'd fancy your chances for this one boys, and I shall be making the trip if you are able to pass Durham.
Good luck whenever the replay is. You'll give us a good game I'm sure.
Oh, and take 6 points of Oxford for us.

Swindon fan here too. Assuming you beat Durham, what sort of away allocation will we get? I would guess we'll bring about 500 - 600.
It will be a tough game for us but I'm happy with the draw as I've never been to Histon before.
It might be on telly as well

You'll be given the whole of the Bridge Road end and I would have thought 2/3rds of the Hill Residential stand if your going to bring that amount of fans.
But our ground is very much still a work in progress and even though our ground has improved drastically in the last couple of years, we understandably lack behind most of the teams in this league. Good work has gone in during pre-season to get Bridge Road in a better shape, and more work will be done at the end of this season (relying that the financial trouble at the moments relents a bit).
Looking forward to your visit (should we win tomorrow night). And if your going to bring that amount of fans it should be a right bumper crowd.

Just the small problem of beating Durham first. We must go into this game prepared for a battle! They will want to win this even more now!

it will be a battle. and when you think 'battle matches' we have been experts over the last few years. home to nuneaton and away to city on a couple of occasions. with players like jk and super neil andrews, we should, hopefully, be able to deal with it. Kingy needs to be stronger in this game though. He has what can only be called a stinker on saturday. Swindon though... interesting draw. an ex premier league team, albeit that was years ago. At home, we don't often lose. let's focus on Durham first and stick with the old cliche of one game at a time

No prob getting you all in, however unfotunately you may not get the best of food ever (survice may be slow). Anyway, we don't have to scout you, I'm pretty sure Mr. Fallon has Fifa 09 tucked away somewhere in his house I can't see us beating you if we do beat Durham, but we'll give you a good game, because I can't remember Histon ever NOT giving a team a good game

I suspect it will probably be Histon, anyone who knows their non league football will appreciate what an immensely tough game that could turn out to be....They have taken a couple of league scalps in recent times, well funded, well organised and will be very difficult to beat.... Still, now having said all that, they will probably lose to Durham...!!!!! I dont think you should automatically presume we are in round 2,Histon wont be easy,we have everything to play for they have nothing to lose. it's more likely to be histon. I'm pretty sure that one of you Swindon fans that have posted on here may have posted this, but here it is anyway. Oh, and it would be our pleasue to beat POxford twice this eason

Yes, we have to beat Durham first, and I can't say i'm very confident. Sounds like we were lucky to escape with a draw up there. Remember Nuneaton? I do Sadly, i'll be away for the match. I hope I can get on line updates or even commentary.

i hope you lot of swindon fans bring down a good number of fans Can't really say. At home we pretty much average around 7K, with a few going into double figures and a few dropping short. Not sure what our away crowds have been like but it'll be a new ground for everyone and if we can keep up a bit of a run I'm sure that will influence a few more. With no disrespect, Histon isn't the most exciting of ties for us so I can see that alone putting people off. I, however, look forward to it. Can't beat freezing your nads off to watch your team lose against a conference side (or northern premier)! At the moment, I'd go for maybe 3/400. Hopefully more.

Nah I'd say at least 500. It's somewhere different. When it's a new ground we normally take quite a few. We took 400 to Southend which is a similar distance and we play there every flippin' year.
Of course if it is selected for TV then we'll bring less.

I wouldn't have thought it will be selected for TV. Will be surprised if it is.
