I think we are all grateful for all Brian did. Might not have liked some of the approach, but can't question his commitment and he produced some quality players.
Good luck to him wherever he goes.
Anybody know who will be taking over?

OMG, really saddened to hear that. I can't imagine the place without Brian.
If you're reading this Brian, many many thanks for what you have done for the club. You should be very proud of the way you have managed the team, getting such young inexperienced players to perform so well. I wish you well.

In other news, Steve Fallow resigned his post a few weeks ago................. That is a nice coincidence. Do you think he'd come back?

I'd come back and get behind whoever the new manager is and see how things are going to be. As I think/hope a lot of the departed fans will do. Nothing against Brian, he did wonders for the club and I'm sure we'll all be grateful for what he did, but the aimless football time after time was too much.
Has anybody heard who the new manager is? The CEN has articles which say the announcement will be in the next day or so. Board must have someone lined up.

Agreed. Many thanks to Brian. Top coach. Very flat last night. Atmosphere of sadness and maybe a bit of resignation. Resignation that if things get any worse, dropping into the bottom four will be imminent. Strange game. We might have got a point. Alternatively, we could have lost 8-1!!! Lynn weren't that good. We should be beating teams like that. But I simply cannot understand how we expect to win games with that selection. The lad up front, IMO, is desperately out of his depth. Steve Fallon, it seems, is about to be revealed as the new Manager. He has a big job on his hands, if so. But with the appropriate assistance, I think he will be a great choice. COYS

Sorry to see Brian go but you probably couldn't wish for a better replacement to galvanise the team and supporters alike. Perhaps attendences might go up a bit as well , although they have been quite reasonable so far this season anyway.

But I simply cannot understand how we expect to win games with that selection. The lad up front, IMO, is desperately out of his depth. Really Clive? That was our strongest lineup on paper. Who else can we play? Perhaps we can get a decent young striker in on loan? I hate to think what will happen when the full backs return to their parent clubs, Luke in particular was fantastic last night. Steve Fallon, it seems, is about to be revealed as the new Manager. Really (again)? It would be fantastic for the image of the club as he is very much liked and respected in the village. Might make amends for terrible way he was treated when he departed. But to be honest, he'd be bonkers to come back. I think he'll struggle without the financial backing he had under the Baldwin regime. Unless, of course, his mere presence provides a platform to get more investment into the club, which could well be the case. Don't get me wrong, i'd love to see Steve back. I just wouldn't wish the job on anyone at the moment, especially such a lovely bloke.

So, Steve has been appointed first team manager as I was typing the above message. Great news for the club, and I hope everyone will rally round, get to games and get behind the team. He's got a really tough task ahead of him. Welcome back Steve. A fantastic appointment.

Very good news. Good luck to Steve!! Brought a lot of good times to the club. They've managed to get him in quickly. A different situation than before, but some good young players to work with and Fallon is a good coach.
Does anybody know if Lance is staying on? Will anybody else be coming or going?
