I've not managed to get to see this new team yet. But I am aware that a very new team WILL NOT gel and play as they are capable after only 2 league games. It's a big ask from a team so new and young. Some of the Goddy players are playing out of position and we heard this week that a couple more of those "last season" Goddy players are heading our way. Matty H is a great coach, but Matty C was the gaffer and he steered the team and the club last season. I still think there is the makings of a good team here (on paper - as I say I'm yet to see them play), I hope Fal will give Matt free reign at some of these early games, afterall Matt knows most of the team now - and he knows where to play them and how to get the best out of them. I have great respect for Fal and Matty (far more than I ever had for BP), if they can get it right, these lads will deliver. But please, lets be realistic, it's gonna take a little time. Just heard that we've grabbed a point at Fleet - maybe we're starting to head in the right direction already. Keep your heads up (positivity rubs off you know

I didn't ask who the management team were Ewstute, but who are the the coaches, is it not just SF and MC - therefore what actually is SDs' role? If the God'ster players were so good last season then not one of them have shown up yet this season IMO. Finally - you acknowledge a team needs to be organised - not sure what job you have but how long did it take you to get in tune with your manager/coachs' expectations? Well after today's 'Boys against Men' (Stutes 0 Farnborough 5) I now see what SDs role is - he stands in in the absence of Fallon and Clements. So where were they and who was supporting SD in the tech area. Whoever he was he shouted quite a lot (you'd like that Ewstute - but that didn't help the team win !!!)

I'd love it where they could just sit in the dugout and say nothing because the team are organised and not needing any instructions, however that isn't the case. On the flip side, just shouting rubbish and being negative to the players is a waste of time, Brian Page did that. I wasn't listening to what was shouted today because I was too busy watching us fall apart. It didn't sound overly helpful.
No idea where they were today.
I'd love to know what's going on. The club got rid of the academy, which was the one bright spot the past 2-3 seasons bringing players through, for a new academy run by one of our players and an ex-Godmanchester player that Matt Clements knows. Seems a bit dodgey and cliquey to me.
Today, I dunno what to say. The best things I can think of are thank god there's lots of games left to get things sorted out. Or on the flip side, oh god if things aren't sorted out we are going to get humiliated a lot.
