This thread began about abuse. It's fitting to add this. Abuse EN MASSE is going on TO US ALL...abusing the whole POPULATION...as well as abusing...manipulating...hiding behind the Ukranian peoples plight. Being done by OUR GOVT. Boris et al cowering behind the war and suggesting we aren't interested in Party gate as a consequence. It is an affront to all those folk who by default were abused by not being allowed to be at relatives sides...weddings...funerals....ALL of us did the right thing. This war...is not priority. Having leadership we can trust and believe in...is. Putin will be treating us as irrelevant...until there is someone in power to respect. The Police have the power to resolve it. Issue his fines. If it takes a Police State to remove him...I think it justified. I don't think they have any interest in governing afterwards! It's turned my stomache listening to their cowardly responses to Party gate. War in Europe my ar"e. I said 4 weeks ago...if Zelensky goes to Putin...let's him have the buffer around Donbas...stop givin it large about joining Nato and definitely cut the cr*p about being a nuclear state and things will be cool. Instead we've hyped it to be Putin world domination... sigh. FOCUS. Putin saves face...hero for protecting the Russians in Donbas and clearing out the Ukraine extremists who were ethnically cleansing Donbas using UK and NATO supplied weapons....shush.
It's suited many...but its been SICKENING for Politicians to use this war to avoid dealing with their own house...I reckon. I've said it here because after 37 years of 'surfing' and contributing to forums on platforms prior to the internet...I've figured you readers are a conscientious and intelligent lot who care about something...! Edit: My comments re Ukraine are based on speaking with over 200 front line Ukranian Military folk and over 3000 people based in Ukraine across 5 City's...in the past 5 weeks. I have helped ship over 200 ton of aid so far across 7 trips mainly from Hull through an organisation I helped set up 5 weeks ago...Hull for Ukraine...easy to find out more on the net. I have also met 20+ family's who have arrived in the UK since leaving Ukraine. I have asked questions and listened to all involved. My comments above re Donbas...would attract a saddened sigh by them all. It is their one regret. Allowing it to go on for 8 years...and the only one talking about it was...Putin. Us in Europe have seen it as an earner...weapons supplied...simple as. I'm a messenger...and that's the message. I have said before in this thread...when I walk the corridors of Westminster there is very few that can hold my eye contact. Knowledge is power. I know more about their own Towns and City's than they want to know...never mind world affairs. Many read this. Sort yerselves out...or...be sorted!

I've met intimately over 2000 Managers at all levels of football. Mixed with 100+ Global owners of clubs...and since my 1st match at Hull City's Boothferry Park...1st game after England had won the Word Cup in '66...flat caps everywhere...I've made friends with 100s of 1000's of fans in terraces. Add to that meeting most 'faces' in the industry over the past 25 years then I have this to say....



If I reflect on recent events...West Hams cat and Moyes's dogs dinner... Chelsea who opted for the next President of Russias dodgy cash...Newcastle allowed to be bought by Saudi money......and the players still take the knee...fans applaud...and then Pat Nevin whom I've always liked sez this on the telly this morning....



However what? However the industry is bo**ockless? However it has no morals? However it is waiting for another Erikson style heart attack so the world of football can show how they care? Awwwww...so sweet....yuk puke. However it will take the knee for injustices and fly the Ukranian colours....? BULLSH*T. 100's OF WORKERS HAVE DIED BUILDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE WORLD CUP...that we know of. At least the blood stained grass will be smooth on all yer insured knees. The Govt move heaven and legislation to deal with 800 sackings at P&O...yet 100's DEAD....for a football tournament...and we send Southgate to say he ain't comfy with the regime and their ethos in humanity. World Cup deaths up to 6,500...

I think I get my directness from my Scottish Grandad. He was a skipper of a Grimsby Trawler for 40 years....served in the Black Watch during the war...and was a prize street fighter in Glasgow. He used to drink with Bill Shankly when he was managing Grimsby Town in the 50's. My Scottish friends love hearing about him....yet i never understood a word he said. Sometimes...its about action and attitude...not words. I'm happy with it.

I'm always willing to be accountable...that has been a big problem to many!x I've said to folk whom I've worked with that when you deal in life...and death...then it does give a different...calmer perspective...on 'local issues! Being at Grenfell whilst folk were still jumping...the Cumbrian and Devon floods over recent years and now dealing with war zones...keeps me 'measured'!x

I've had 2 questions asked as a consequence of recent posts made in here.
The first comes from an ex player who achieved legend status at United but wishes to remain anonymous. He asks am I still a Cambridge fan and will I go to games and will I be allowed?! Yes a fan...and always will be first and foremost. As for attending games...yes I will but only to encourage my baby gurl to become a fan...like her Mum and extended family. So that's the only time I will go. She will be going with me to Hull City matches too...but we will both be wearing our U's shirts which fortunately are the same colour!x As for will I be allowed?...well...I have no problem with anyone there these days...and there is no written ban in force anymore. So on that basis I believe it wouldn't be!!x



I told the policeman who asked me to leave without fuss last time that all that is left as a reason for me not being allowed in was because of racist views. He nearly choked on that one...but tbh...there is no other reasons left...that are justified or indeed deserving! But...as you all should know...fans are there by invitation...ground owners can keep out who they like...even for no reason whatever colour they are!!!! Policeman had no clue as to why he was told I had to go either...so...its one of them!!x I'll let you know when that event happens...x Lexy loves Mooose too....i've been Moose many times over the years.....so its kind of full circle for us!x

Second question came from a reporter friend of some 15 years. He had wanted to review the 'evidence' of me 'borrowing'..the FA Cup!!x He said that the video link didn't work! So I checked it...and he was right!x There had been a dispute put on the music rights. I proved I had the rights to use it...and the video just needed re-up loading after a hasty blocking of it by Utube!x So here it is...after being left with the FA Cup after a news conference...and the security man looking after it needed a wee...so I took it to chat with some surprised Posh fans!!x March 2001!!x

Well...2 million+ have fled Ukraine to Poland since Putin's 'Special Operation'...another 1 million had already gone there in the past 8 years since the Donbas conflict kicked off after the annexing of Crimea. Therefore...with 10% of the Polish population now being Ukranian...then Poland has already been affected...forever! I do see it as a positive though! Many of those first 1 million were the brain drain...educated and often passifists who didn't agree with their Countrys actions in the Donbas...or who were ethnically cleansed...targeted by Russians because of their 'ability'. All that 'potential'...is now in Poland! I certainly don't see it under threat by Putin now or in the future. Media hype is touting the Eastern Block retake by Putin. None of his military actions show that.

I believe the biggest collateral of this war will be...Africa. Tunisia...Egypt...Countrys who took part in the Arab uprising...in the main get their grain for bread from Russia or the Ukraine. Grain and staple ingredients are in short supply and civil unrest is happening here and there already. Nobody in Europe is even mentioning it. Whilst conflict will occur...I think the biggest catastrophe will be famine. But...the world is used to seeing pot bellied brown babies crying with snot down their noses. Biafrans...I remember first seeing such pics in the late 60's early 70s on the telly.

However...Biafra suffered around 1000 dying babies a day...out of 13/14 million people. Egypt/Tunisia alone...have a combined population of 120 million. Add to that the other African Countrys that will be affected...you do the math.
I believe it will become the biggest humanitarian problem this war will create. NATO...Europe...and us in the UK...ain't even talking about it. We won't whilst white kids are seen crying holding their mams hand walking to a train station in the Ukraine. I am brown....with a white mother and sister. I grew up...in a 'white' society...often being the only brown kid in the school during the 60's. I know this Country...and its people...im a product of it...influenced by it. Evening!x I saw the end of the Leicester quarter final at PSV on BT Sport...and was GOBSMACKED. I started to watch the West Ham game on BT Sport...to confirm what I saw. I've switched to RMC Sport...a French station which I'm happy with as I understand French comfortably. The reason for switching is because of the unbelievable advert asking for donations for Ukraine every 10 minutes...with a heartfelt ask from the commentator. How gullible is the football world? BT...haven't pulled out of Russia!!!! Their excuse is that it would affect customers in the UK trying to call Russia. ABSOLUTE BO**OX. This relationship started 9 years ago partnering Russias National telecoms company to supply the financial industries in Russia with state of the art use of the 'cloud' and net. A COMMERCIAL operation nowt to do with domestic calls as we are led to believe. They earn MILLIONS with it. They have the audacity to then ask you gullible fans of football to pay into a pot which they will sling at Ukraine!! Unreal. Who in the football world is monitoring this....abuse of you all? I ain't watching BT sport anymore as a consequence...plenty others cover their games globally. Its about choice...and I hope none of you pay a tenner into their token sh*te either. Rwanda. Perspective. Poland have took in 2 MILLION Ukrainians...in 2 months. I have visited the economic migrant/asylum seeker camps in France over recent years. I know what happens in France end...and what the demograph/make up is of those looking to come here. So far....72% of those seeking asylum...get it....here sorted in the UK. They are entitled to it...we are a humanitarian based Country....5th/6th wealthiest in the world. Yet we are 14th on the list of how many asylum seekers get in. We have 6 for every 10,000 people living here. Europe blazes ahead with 11 asylum seekers per 10,000. There are around 30,000 looking to come here...of which 72% of those should pass scrutiny. That's it. 30,000 max. I repeat...Poland have taken in 2 MILLION PEOPLE...in 2 months.
So...Boris's diversion tactict to Partygate today...is absolute waffle. Whoever it is looking to come here...rightly or wrongly....to send them to Rwanda...or threaten that....certainly won't stop them coming. Isreal tried it....sending their economic migrants to Rwanda......they stopped it as folk were legging it out of the camp...and embarking across Africa again to get to Europe!!!! Equally...Rwanda.....errr...not exactly known for being a humanitarian State! Refugees have died...been beaten up and treated inhumanely...in Rwanda already. Ask Isreali's and Australians. The Russian flagship Moskva....WOOOHOOOOO...what a shot!x



In 2014 I was in a helicopter shadowing the 5 Russian warships as they sailed through the English Channel...proudly. Anyone from Dover to Dungeness could see them with the naked eye. I thought it was great! Incidentally....the Russians had just annexed Crimea...this was them flexing their might to see if anyone had anything to say about that action! Perhaps if we'd have stopped them...confronted them parading through our patch.....then Putin may then have got a message that may have changed todays events in the Ukraine! I digress. Besides them being 'escorted' by our finest the Royal Navy...I was content in knowing that their warships...were easy meat!!!!!...as are ALL ships these days. I discovered that 7 missile bases along the South Coast were tracking them. 3 minutes it was estimated...and all 5 ships would have been finished.



In 2012 I was fortunate to visit RAF Lossiemouth and HM Naval Base Clyde...between the 2 they control our Nuclear deterent/threat...submarines in the main. My mate here trains new folk on launching nuclear missiles! During that visit I met several officers who enlightened me as to missile capability these days and their views on 'ships' for the future.  Basically...these Navy folk...didn't see any future in them! Missile technology had superceeded any capability these warships have to defend themselves. 9 years later....a simple low level type missile...takes out the Russian flagship!!!! The same one that when it showed up several weeks back...the Ukranians told it to eff off haha!x A stamp was released in the Ukraine this week to commemorate that happening....i'm sure their stamp printing press is now working over time for a new stamp....and rightly so!x Obviously i'm not surprised at how easy the ship was taken out! Whilst we have a proud tradition...since Henry the 8th...of having a Navy fleet...most gaffas within the industry tell me...subs is where its at now...and for the future! This is Frank...he's been the Mayor of Portsmouth in 2012...2015 and re-elected in 2021...loved by all...and on the Board of the Docks for the Navy. He's 'on it' and indeed supported any development of our subs. He was also present in 2012 when we were told about ships being defunct due to missiles!! He has a great deep chuckle.....and boy did he laugh when the Russkies came sailing up the Channel...as did I!!x He reckons 1 minute 50 seconds these days to sort the Russkies 5 warships...!x Whilst Frank can be funny....I wouldn't fu** with him.

A local Easter story...inspired by my mate Chopsy whose a staunch Sheffield Wednesday fan and dapper dresser and asks after binging on this thread...."don't you ever switch off??!"x

Yes I do...when i'm DJing!x December 1992...another friend asked if I wanted to go to a Northern Soul all nighter! It was my 31st birthday...and the last time I'd danced to Northern Soul was aged 15/16...and had listened to 4 tapes with 100 tunes on them for 10 years...so I thought YEAH...why not! Now...i'd had 2 joints in my life at that stage...and as a youth went to football matches and discos on the night but drunk beer! In the late 70's...for 3 years on me travels as one of the lads I never saw...or was offered...coke...or any drug! I was 'hard core'...used to sit in the rafters leading the singing....last one to do that!!!...and would have known if it was among the Cambridge 'crew'...it weren't! However beer put me in borstal! Positive out of it is i've been teetotal since age 18! Anyway...a mate said i'd need some Dexys...speed...to keep me awake! He gave me 4 script pills...said take 2 at 8pm...another 1 at 12...and another if I need it about 3am! Right....so we arrived at the doo at Keele University in Stoke...I knecked 2 at 7pm and thought they weren't working so followed with the last 2 at 8.30...as you do!!! LAUNCHED...!!!! After not leaving the dancefloor with 500 others for 8 hours.......we got in the car and I said
"WOOOOWWWW...I want to have a do like that...and I want to DJ!!! My ex Mrs pi**ed herself as did my mate...he said 'It's the drugs Sooty...and my mrs added whilst uncontrollably laughing...'and you haven't even got any records!!!'.....so.....we all laughed! But...I'd made a decision......and THE WORLD would get to know it...!!!!!x



There had been the odd doo in Cambridge commemorating old venues and for rememberence of passed Soulies purposes but nothing consistent/regular for locals to plug into. With some of the 'old school' help...friends through being fans of Cambridge United not music...I organised our first Soul night under the new banner of the Cambridge Stompers...set for Good Friday 1993 in Cottenham Village College hall...29 years ago TODAY!!x (Happy Anniversary 'Stompers'...I know some of you read this!x)



What helped that night a success was the fact that Viv's mobile bar we had booked.....phoned the Thursday night before to say they weren't allowed a license to sell alcohol on a Good Friday!!!! Old Victorian legislation possibly still in force today?!x
We had no mobile phones back then en mass...just house phones and friendships spread around the City. We did what we could to let folk know...bring your own drinks!!!x I'd bought some records to get me started...and put myself on the bill....and I needed a DJ name I thought! Sooty had been my puppets i'd used testing my DJing out doing school discos as a school governor of a Junior school!! All the kids started calling me Sooty...had loads of them along my decks...they were my own 2 childrens puppets!! Kids loved it....happy times...so DJ Sooty it is...!! I changed it by Deed Poll to Sooty officially 15 or so years later...to uphold a future Kings reputation and defend the term as is known in the UK...as a cute cuddly...but mischeivous puppet...i'm the vocal version...with no strings...but thats another 'story'!!x I DJ at 7pm....no crowd had arrived as yet...I was happy...this was 'proper'...and you have to earn respect....and rumbles of 'he din't go to Wigan'...had already began...haha!!!x But THEY STORMED IN...carrier bags rattling and the night was a STOMPER for the 100+ that turned up...the Cambridge Stompers Soul Club was launched!!!!x



I will say it as it is...that innocent burst of excitement when leaving Keele University in Stoke December 92...lead to me sorting a monthly Soul Night at Cambridge City's City Stop which eventually ran for 5 years through the 90's and a packer at every one. I did use Histon's facilities and Uniteds a few times but sadly they weren't the ideal venue due to dance floor or layout...but i tried!x




Blimey...those posters used to take me about 10 hours cutting pics out...letrasetting every letter....no computers all hand done!!! Great to keep your mind busy!x I began visiting other Soul nights around East Anglia and as far as Northampton/Wellingborough. It created a 'network' of 'mates'...20+ at its peak...! I got the gaffas running these soul nights round mine and said look...none of these BIG venues will give you a chance to DJ...it had become an institution...'in crowd' only from back in the day...end of. I knew they were giving their all to their nights...for love...not money. So I said...lets pool our resources...i'll book the venue do all the overall donkey work and finance commitments....8 of you take 50 tickets to sell to your folks...and we have our own BIG doo and call it the 9 Clubs! At each doo there will be 9 seperate clubs represented! A big doo was around 500 at the time!!! It came together and we had 3 sellout functions at the Maltings in Ely...and it inspired a re-launch of the famed 70's venue St Ives which a friend had tried to relaunch a couple of years earlier with mediocre support at the time. With this new 'network' approach....we rammed it...8 times over 3 years always 1000+ and folk came from all over the Country to enjoy the occasions!x In essence...we'd won the support of the Nation..and CAMBRIDGE was the biggest name on the scenes lips...NATIONALLY!!x Doing my bit!x





We also had exclusive nights for 50 people playing £10,000+ records...one offs from the 60's....which attracted record producers from around the world to be 'inspired'...and several tunes stemmed from those nights that hit the dance charts and Ibiza in the 90's. The venue was upstairs at The Duke of Argyle in Cambridge...sadly now closed I believe!x



I've lead many folk on different ventures...but these folks were a joy to be with...just did whatever I suggested....and it worked to the extent 3 of the young lads then became famous DJ's in their own right Nationally on the scene...and 1 Lady....which was unheard of!!! I am proud of helping them all....it wasn't about me....but 'the people'...that makes me happy...so I have to do it!!x On top of that...my 'hobby'...chillout...had certainly generated extra revenues for this locality for all involved...and not one fight.......EVER....proper doo's!!x The 'moguls' of the scene wondered what I was about....come out of nowhere....am I looking to take the drug supply over....am i just givin it large....am i an undercover copper.....had it all...and obviously no help from them of use! Nope....I was in Ireland/Northern Ireland quite often Monday to Friday mid 90's...and talking with Triads late 90's in Hong Kong and London...I needed PROPER WASTING at weekends...Simple as. DJing and dancing did it for me. Many are still mystified to this day as to WTF was that whirlwind...!!!x I got recognition for my efforts...in ways!x



As for my DJing...I ended up at all the then major functions...through people power!!! From Blackpool to Blackburn...Manchester to the Midlands...Nottingham to Norwich and became a regular at the revered and respected ultimate venue the 100 Club in Oxford Street London. I would go on at 6am til 7am...Fatboy Slim...The Gallaghers...Boy George...all the 'full on' folk would be there after their gigs in London...and LOVED every tune I spun...friends to this day!! All achieved with 18 months of going to my first proper doo!!!!x On this occasion...Sooty the puppet had just been sold...the copyright...to the Chinese for £1 Million....hence the 'contract'!!!x



Hmmm... Shall I??...Shan't I?...will they believe it??....Ok...I'll tell you...deal with it! I used to spin this...in 1994/5...at the 100 Club. I helped educate a friend on the tune. He did another version of it in 98. His version was the last tune spun...TO THE WORLD...at the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony. I cried with PRIDE...for my small part in that happening as the fireworks went off!! Unbelievable.....but......its the way it is x Check it out nowwwwwww.....Funk Soul Bruvverrrrr!!



Wherever I DJ'd...sometimes 5 times in a weekend...I took a 17 seater mini bus full....and that hadn't happened on the scene...since the 70's!!! At our peak...I walked into the Ritz at Manchester and paid for 200 tickets....folk who i'd brought with me! THAT was the night....'we' arrived on the scene....and began regeneration of it...the people spoke!!!x We as a collective took our excitement Nationwide and were a big part in bringing many Soulies back into the scene through our doo's who like me hadn't been involved in since being a kid 15-20 years earlier!!x I can also add...many of those new found friends are still friends to this day...29 years later...for which i'm grateful!x Today as far as Northern Soul goes I focus on helping organise Charity functions including the Comedy carpet event in Blackpool and The Pri ntworks in Manchester involving 1000's and raising £1000's for ill children in the main. I DJ more outside of the scene than in it these days. Charity events UK wide and wherever there's been a disaster in the last 20 years i've been there afterwards to help raise money through general DJing and compering events mainly involving children entertaining them...and educating them at the same time! ALL...chillout...for me x
By the way Boris et al....this 'network' is a chillout one....probably represents about 200,000 50+ year olds UK wide....all LOVE ME....earnt....not given....and sustained for 30 years! Got about 50 or 60 other networks too....nowt to do with music! Me football one I reckon covers about 1 million fans that know me or of me UK wide through personal efforts over the past 40 years! Can't wait for the by-elections! But its Easter...so back to the story!



I have gathered a super collection of 45's...from the 50's to date crossing all genres. Worth around £1/2 million!! Really?!!! Yup...I have 300 Northern Soul records worth £1000+ each collected over the past 30 years...for starters!!x My mate was a roadie for Lemmy (RIP) and Motorhead for 20 years! When he was on tour in the USA he'd scour junk shops looking for studio acetates and find rare obscure records with maybe only 25 copys in existance. He'd play them to me down the phone...and then bring what I liked back to the UK after the tour finished...i'd play them up the 100Club for the first time ever...folk loved them....job done!! I feature on radio shows UK wide sharing my love of ALL music through my collection!x As a spin off...I am also chuffed with the result of The Togetherness documentary that i made back in 2003 at the Kings Hall in Stoke through my media company...although this was a labour of love...and the most succesful out of over 100 productions we've done!!! It has had 2 Million views since I put it on the net for free for all in the past 6 years....gobsmacking! Richard Searling...Chris king...Ian Levine...Ginger...famous Promoters/DJ's and record producers on the scene all feature on the film saying they returned to it as a consequence of the 'surge' we had created in the 90's....humbling indeedX



Today...Cambridge is thriving...I quit the scene as such in 2001 and others took over where I left off and regular nights happen around the area with more folk attending functions Nationwide today than the scene had back in the day!!! Not bad for the longest running underground Dance scene the UK has ever experienced! I also am known on the scooter scene UK wide too! A slightly different network and i'm hosting/DJing at The Skegness Scooter Rally next Bank Holiday...so that will be my next 'chillout' where I will spin tunes that I did during this 'resurrecting' period of the 90's!!!!x There...a 'resurrection' story for Easter!!x HAPPY EASTER ALL!x

Afternoon...!X I've reviewed the 'news' over the past 5 days since my last post in here and have found it remarkable how many commentators/MP's are using the same analogies and similar statements as i've made in here in the past weeks!!! Ahead of my time....sigh. Finally the Donbas is being featured as an 'end game' across media. In fact it has been the only game Putin was looking to win. I've also watched Boris give his 'statement' and seen the reactions to it. Pitiful performance by the 'liar'. However...on this momentous day for the Country/Commonwealth and the Queen...her 96th birthday...then I will share this 'story' of our last 'encounter'...and deal with the sad sh*t this evening!!!X
I have been in the Queens company several times at awards/functions/Sandringham etc.....but we have only 'met' once....a very intimate moment which I...or she...will never forget!x



Royal Ascot several years ago...in my white Limousine with 'SOOTY X number plate....dressed as in the pic but with a Union Jack shirt on....and Union Jack flip flops and shorts instead of my England kit...it was sunny!x The racing was finished and I was making my way back to the course after visiting Runnymede close by....the place where the Magna Carta was signed!!
The road back was a very narrow country road....and it was chokka heading my way as folk were returning to collect their passengers/friends and family! After 1/2 an hour of going nowhere....a pair of 'convoy' Police motorbikes came around the tight bend towards me.......shortly after I realised it was one of the Queens Rollers coming around the bend.....it had Prince Phillip and friends in it heading back home!!!
I knew the Queen was coming......so jumped out of the car....with my Cambridge United 'number plate'.....and went and stood in front of my car ready for her arrival!!!!



Next car to come trickling around the bend was a Range Rover full of her 'security'....and I was ready........then it came....her fav Rolls Royce....1977....Jubilee one....but.....due to its size....and my long car on the bend....it had to slow to walking pace to get by....! At that moment I saw the Queens 'friend'/Lady in Waiting sat next to her point at me.....with that....she leaned forward.....I took my hat off.....looked straight at her eye to eye.....we held each others gaze as she then run her eyes up and down my person....and put her hand to her lips and.....she giggled like a good un...!!! I smiled in return and 'bowed' my head as she cruised by!!!!x That moment lasted about 5 seconds........but.......it was like my then whole 60 years of existence had been for that moment.....to make the Queen smile....and be happy! JOB DONE!!!!!!x



I was a 'sight'...and glad...PROUD...to have been of 'service' to her personally!x Prince Charles laughs at me each time we have crossed paths....'standard'....but his Mam......that....was 'PROPER'!!x My baby gurl 6 year old Lexy saw the Queen the last time she visited Cambridge...and indeed the Queen turned and waved to her!x So the 'love' of our Queen has certainly been passed on to her...and she knows who she is...from an early age thanx to Dad!x

Firstly...as its on our patch here in Cambridgeshire...RIP Rikki Neave (killed in the 90's aged 6) and hopefully Ruth his mam can chillout too now the true killer has been brought to justice x I deal with folk whose lives are run by drugs each day. Most don't ever leave it...Ruth did. That environment is horrific for all concerned. However she didn't deserve to be treated as a murderer. Whilst all those Police who were involved in that crime have retired now...they still fell below the level required in any investigation. She was an easy target...simple as. She would have gone away for a long time...and nobody would have cared. I went to borstal for something I didn't do...but was threatened with being charged for worse offences...so gave in to the lesser which I hadn't done! For Ruth...and Rikki...Justice has prevailed as did the Cambs Police eventually...X

The football world has redeemed itself too. Full respect to Liverpool fans who clapped in the 7th minute in support of Ronaldo and his wife's loss...X Quality considering they are fierce rivals. Things got back to normal soon after as Man U fans taunted about Hillsboro. Doh. Don't you know there's a war on 'laaads' Always will be idiots attracted to stadia!

Joe Biden...slings $800 million in arms for the Ukrainian Army...Americans are content. That funds Ukraines 'bill'...for 8 days. $100 million+ A DAY its costing them.....IN LOST and dispensed kit. My outfit who have been running for 5 weeks supplying boots/socks/paracetamol and the like to the Ukranian Army's front line troops.....involving around 20 people to sort it....so far would have given 1 days supply to them...that's over 100 tons worth. Not all the news is being told!  Joe's rhetoric is very similar to FDR's prior to Pearl Harbour. Yawn. Incidentally...folk who front the Hull for Ukraine (domestic aid only) outfit will be featuring on the couch of BBC Breakfast TV tomorrow morning 8.30am...!!x I declined to take part as it is about 'the people'...who come together for once in a lifetime experience...to do good. It is they who are remarkable...extraordinary and deserving of recognition. Nuclear Subs! Last week I spoke about our subs and the future. Well...thanks to the past and 98 maps that I produced around the UK including Jersey the Isle of Wight and Gibraltar during the 90's where I made lots of friends amongst the local tourist attractions/hotels/ and businesses...then i'm pleased to have been informed by good friends in Gibraltar that the best WE have in the shape of subs...HMS Audacious...has been armed with the best the US has in torpedo/missile technology!!! An American sub delivered them to Gibralter this week and it is certainly a sight we want the Russians to see!!!

Now...I have an apology to make in writing off all Politicians...! BUT...there is nothing 'political' about these 2 fine folk who set examples as to what decency and respectability is about. Both speak for me...and for most of the UK...I reckon.





Today...the Conservative Party couldn't even organise its own 'damage limitation' exercise. Failed to use procedure to prolong things further...donuts...or perhaps Boris's damage limitation team....gave up?! Thats how bad its getting behind the scenes. The Met have thrown a life line...possibly avoiding being accused of damaging the elections?! Anyway...the mans on borrowed time simple as. The real prevarication isn't because folk are out to save him....it's because there is no one else they can come up with. Perhaps Mark or Steve above may be approached as they are the leading lights to stand for whats right around their mob! 52% of polled Public don't want Boris...12% want Sunak. That's it. As I say...the system...is finished.

I also watched a Conservative woman MP attempt to be 'motherly' by suggesting it will stop kids being washed up on beaches by threatening Rwanda. Read your own 'script'...in July 2021...Rita French...luvly Lady...the Global Ambassador for Human Rights APPOINTED BY THE CONSERVATIVES...expressed “regret” that Rwanda was not conducting “transparent, credible and independent investigations into allegations of human rights violations including deaths in custody and torture”. She added: “We were disappointed that Rwanda did not support the UK recommendation to screen, identify and provide support to trafficking victims, including those held in government transit centres.” GET A GRIP Ladies... neither of you I would trust with the care of my kids...you're detached women...Rita's comments were made...9 months ago.


From French to France! I've spoken with French friends...and those who have an interest in France. Le Pen is in the best position to win apparently...Law enforcement want her i've been told as do 'security'. I visit several Embassy's in Paris...and messages coming from them is that they are preparing for a Le Pen victory!!! Sacre Bleu...Napolean would be smiling!!

Afternoon!x I forgot to recognise some folk and got grief for it...so here goes!x
In 1983 I heard a wealthy business man in the USA say...'what you give out comes back ten fold'...biblical stuff really. Now i'm not religous but I did adopt that ethos from aged 21 and it has served me well...this being a fine example!x This is Ben...he plays for Hull FC disability team as he has learning difficulties...however don't get in his way when he has the rugby ball!!!x



I have to tell you this too....a few months back he came to see me and said he'd scored 32 tries....I was gobsmacked but also questioning.........then he explained all innocent like that they were playing a wheelchair based team!!!!......I pi**ed myself and he said very seriously sometimes thats how a team is made up across the leagues.....I couldn't hold it in...hahahaha!!!x



So I met Ben about a year ago...he pops into my shop and I give him the odd job to do. I've also met all his team and gaffas into the full squad and set up. Well...i've taken Ben on trips with me here and there and his 'carers' were over the moon at his 'development' over the past year. In essence...everybody was happy with what i'd done for Ben...and for the disability team which i've sponsored here and there. 4 weeks ago I got a call from the guy in charge of the Academy...he said he wants to help the Hull for Ukraine effort and can he send some lads down.....WOW...and they have been involved helping out 1 or 2 days a week ever since....FANTASTIC....and indeed the sincere friendship shown to Ben...has been repaid 1000 fold already....there....it pays to 'give'...without expectation...I reckon!x
