It is. 2 games to go so why not be optimistic. To still be in with a chance at this stage of the season is remarkable and credit goes to lance, the coaching team and the players. A game we should have got at least a point from, so well done to the team and management today. Spoilt (again!) by an inconsistent and weak referee.
However the lasting memories will be of 3 appallingly unsportsmanlike players from Farnborough. players.
G/K - for taking the p*ss out of Jake prior to him taking the penalty by mockingly shaking his hand and wishing him luck, then spitting (yes, spitting!!) on the ball.
No4, for coming over to some HFC supporters and tellling them to f.off and finally. No6 (Captain no less!!) for shouting across at the HFC supporters 'enjoy relegation'. How absolutely pathetic and shameful.
Finally, with 2 games to go can we please find a penalty taker who will welly the ball instead of a side foot placed kick!
