Was anyone able to make it last night? Hopefully, there's a write up from the club soon as it would be good to know the state of affairs of the club, such as the finances side of things, scholar's and women's team update, if this 3g pitch idea has come any closer to fruition, etc!

I wonder if there are any updates as to the progress the club are making in the bid for a 3G pitch (as discussed at the AGM). Be nice to be kept informed (of anything really!!!)

Maybe to raise funds for Stutes a sponsored silence would be the way forward, reflecting the information about 3G etc the supporters are given!!!??

Well the silence is deafening - especially from the new 'secretary' who told us of his 3G plans 8 weeks ago. Can someone please knock on his door and ask what progress (!!) has been made so far and possibly let us the paying supporter what is happening.

Yeah it sounded so positive at the AGM, but as usual it's gone quiet with any feed back.
well Rome wasn't built in a day, but if things don't get a move on the Glass World could soon become a tourist site.

Well it's here - the day the Stutes play on a 3G pitch.
Maybe this might jog the mind and get a certain speaker from the AGM let us know about the GWS3G project........but then again!!

One year ago tonight the Secretary spoke at the AGM about his plans for the 3G pitch - since then nothing !
It is most disappointing that no one from the board, or any representative has reported on the progress of the plan - oh and if the Secretary (and his dog) are still involved!
So instead of asking for more money to sponsor shirts,balls etc - how about a club update.

Well I suppose there is nothing much to tell but I'm sure if there is more news they will announce it.

The newsletter they now send out on a regular basis is a welcome development so the club is making an effort to keep fans aware of any latest goings on both on and off the pitch.

The newsletters are informative and relate to the whole club and not just the 3G pitch so there is plenty in them .

I don't understand why you have to sign up for the news letter, why not just put it on the web site for all to see.

'......not just the 3G pitch...'. So in these newsletters (I requested one sometime ago but assumed as I hadn't had one they too were a figment of the Secretary) - there is mention of the 3G or not?

Yes it would seem a sensible idea to put the newsletter on the website for everyone unless there is a reason for the club not wanting to do that.Perhaps the only way of getting specific information about a particular issue if it isn't covered is to speak to the people concerned at a home game.
