Too be fair a few performances were gd! But not looking too gelled together as a team as such. I think we could do with 1 more pre-season. I think i'd stick with line up for Torquay as we had for Chelmsford except i'd have Langston on instead on Pat Ada. But thats just my personal opinion!

Chelmsford are worth a tip for promotion. They looked a very good side, passed the ball better than us. Surprised to see Andy Duncan playing for them. Doesn't he live in Hirton village? Nice modern facilities, but I really don't like football grounds with running tracks round them. You are too far away from the action. At least there is a small temporary terrace behind each goal.
Our game relies on hard work, endevour and pressing. I think in pre-season friendlies we suffer because of that. Without that incentive to give 100%, we look average. Still, we looked organised and hopefully have plenty of fitness in reserve. I agree with sweep, Tyler Campbell looked fantastic during his brief cameo. Really pacey and he gets into dangerous areas. I think he is worth a place on the bench.

Yeah Chelmsford ahve been a decent(ish) team for a while. Then the guy from Canvey put his money into Chelmsford instead, and they have shot up. Just remember we signed Itchy from Chelmsford, so they obviously know quality players too! Disappointed with the result. Was away on holiday, so couldn't go. I would say all in all, not a bad pre-season, and am sure the boys will be ready to go come Saturday
