Erm, no he's not poo - he's a very promising young talent and was tipped for big things this season, but doesn't seem to be getting much of a chance under the new manangement, but with two midfielders injured badly this week (Pitt and Parkinson) I'd be pretty surprised if this news was true, if so it's be a very good loan signing for you guys.

Pitts only out for like 2 weeks isn't he? And Parkys out for the whole season, not a bad way to waste wages.

Pitt it out for 8-12 weeks and had an operation today - while Parkinson is out for the whole season having done his cruciate. Really bad news for the lad, gutted for him and a bit of a blow - there is usually a standard insuracne though to cover such things, so the club shouldn't be out of pocket, but he was looking an excellent signing.
What was the score tonight?

Histon 1-2 CRC
Histon were reduced to 10men after about 65minutes. Should have still been a draw, neither team were good.

seems a good addition, after 2 poor displays from our midfield some pressure will be added on them

As a Cambridge fan I am gutted to hear about this. As far as I'm concerned, he should be next in the "pecking order" for our central midfield positions. He put in a couple of very strong performances last year, particularly against Stevenage and Rushden.
Very disappointing. Excellent news for Histon though.

Cambridge fans see gutted by his loan move, so he must be a good player, seen him a few times but i didn't think he was that good.
Can't be any worse than what our midfield is doing at the moment

He's an excellent player, and most people think that he's our next big money player (along with Coulson). A bit strange considering our midfielders are dropping like flies and that he didn't want to go to you in the first place (took a pay cut to join us) but he'll be a great addition to your squad.
Although, I can't help feeling he might be slightly wasted with the way Histon play the game, he's very much a ball to feet-pick the pass type player.

Can't say I've heard of him before to be honest but with what people are saying on here about him it sounds like a good deal. If United are shipping players like him off on loan then surely they must be after someone else? I wouldn't be surprised... And I have to agree with the post above as I can't for the life of me see how he's going to fit in our style of play. If he's a lad that likes it to feet then he really does need to have a look at a first team game. In saying that though, at times last season Fallon mixed it up brilliantly and the best example was York were admittedly, we dominated a very poor side that looked inept in every part of the field, but we still looked very impressive. Despite York's ineptitude we still had to pull strings and pick them apart and we did that brilliantly with not coincidentally methinks Adie playing one of the best games I've seen him play in the centre of midfield. So this could either be a great signing, or a pointless one, depending on how he slots in and how we utilize him.

The ironic thing is, Farrell is being shipped out by a manager who DOES play the style that suits him, whilst it was Quinn (also a long ball merchant) who brought him in in the first place.

^ Quinn didn't play long ball, at least nothing like when it's done properly (let's face it, you do have the master of long ball), but played quite direct and mixed it up a fair bit. Very frustrating but still. Can't say I've heard of him before to be honest but with what people are saying on here about him it sounds like a good deal. If United are shipping players like him off on loan then surely they must be after someone else? I wouldn't be surprised... He's not played that much, but just ask Stevenage if you want to know what he's capable of. I don't think it's a case of us being after anyone, more that we've already got too many midfielders, we've got 6 players going for one position. Something has to give.
