I spoke to Pat Ada last week, to see if he was injured, he said he was fine but not in the managers plan. Said it is his dream to play in midfield, he's been asking to play there from day one but was never give him a chance (even in friendly games) fal never told him why either - that must be what's frustrating him. He would have been a great holding midfielder IMO given all his attributes he would be a excellent box to box midfielder. Only saw him play there once against west brom last season he was a class above our current midfielders.

I totally agree reds67. I remember him playing in Midfield against West Brom. So come on Fal, give it a try. Pat in the middle of midfield, Put Antonio on the right and Jack on the bench. (sorry Jack )

Jack would be quality on the bench. He's versitile, he can play right-wing or up front, which means if it doesn't work out with Reevsy or (hope not) Wright, we can chuck him there. Go on Fall, Ada CM!

i would like him to stay do not know what fal is doing fallon hasnt done anything wrong, you cant keep a player at a club who doesnt want to be there 1 you would still have to pay his wages when he's on the bench 2 it would be a set back for pats career if he doesnt play 1st team football but it sounded like fal wanted him to leave

According to the radio coverage, Patrick had a superb game today and very welcome too, particularly that Erkan has now been added to the injured list

great to see that patrick is back in the squad. He played centre back and mitchell-king was moved to centre midfield...dunno why they didnt just put pat centre mid, not that he didnt do well at the back but would have made more sense really.

Picked up a nasty injury today. Hobbled off, one of many challenges the ref did not see. Amazed he saw the penalty.
Today's game quick overview - played well first half should have added to lead. Second half they played well, Damon on bench with Wright and Murry up front. Draw fair result in the end.

Let's go back to playing football that we're best at. Direct from the defence with long balls to midfield, not bypassing midfield completely. Midfield gets flick-ons or if ball is at feet do shorter passes. Let's get it good, back to how we can best play
