Hello,
For those of you coming to York on Saturday you may be interested to know that in the Social Club bar before and after matches we now have a "York City TV" service shown on a screen by the bar. For your interest this will feature action from last season's meeting between York and Histon (!) as well as other stuff.
For those of you unable to come to York, or for those who would like to watch the best bits again, the highlights of tomorrow's match should appear on YouTube either late on Saturday evening or early afternoon on Sunday. You may remember this facility was available last season:

Great news, many thanks for posting. I'm absolutely gutted that I can't make this match as I was looking forward to it. Was also looking forward to the possibility of a fans game before the first team game. Ironically, the wedding I am attending is also in Yorkshire. No way I can sneak out or fake illness... the wife is a bridesmaid and I'm meant to be transporting the bridesmaids to and from the church. Normally that would be a good job, but I'd do anything to get out of it and be able to make the match. I've insisted that the commentary is going on the car radio. They can whinge all they like, it's going on!

It's not even on BBC Radio York :-( It must be, the game not being covered on Radio York is inconceivable. Every game is covered without fail. |

Do they still charge to go in to their bar?
There is a pub down by the river , on the way from York station, called the Maltings ( I think)which Bournmouth F.C supporters ( when York had a league team!) voted it to be the pub of the season. they don't charge to go in and they have real ale!

Good to see some of the play, Danny could have (should) put us 1 up early on , but then who was picking up there man for the equaliser?. Still, a decent and welcome point.

What a fluff by Wright. Anyway, he'll be at Bootham Crescent a lot more often this year if the rumours are true.
Good call for the penalty, most refs would have bottled that.
