Did I hear correctly on BBC Radio Cambs on Saturday that there is a fans forum this Wednesday at 7pm?

I also heard that. If that is indeed true it will be very interesting indeed to see what is said regarding the Pope issue.
I believe that is the reason for it being held at such short notice but then again I might be wrong.

Should stop the cambridge fans moaning about us not putting out news to everyone now.

Not really. It depends what's said, if Fallon and co start coming out with nonsense about his innocence and how he's a tragic loss to the team, it'll make Histon FC even more of a laughing stock.

I bet it will just be the club stating why they believe their player is innocent.
They will refuse to accept the ruling, thus still implying that several Cambride players are liars. And they will say how they want Pope back playing, completely ignoring the fact that he is a man who has been charged with making racist remarks.
IF that happens, and I suspect it will, then I'll lose a huge amount of respect for Histon, Fallon and Baldwin.

Yep. I had an ill-informed idea of them as a decent family club, open and honest in their dealings...
Since they got promoted pretty much every dealing they've had with United has shown them to be quite the opposite.
The outburst from Fallon about the Farrell situation was one of the most pathetic. One of about several hundred transfers which would've fallen through, for a variety of reasons...and he has to moan on like it's never happened before.

Perhaps its time that you and all the other doubters came to the fans forum on Wednesday, I am sure you will be made very welcome.

It's not our managers fault that your board go back on their offer just cos they want 10% more money.

So you think it's reasonable we subsidise you taking some of our prime talent for a few months by exploiting friendships between naive chairmen who should have nothing to do with the playing side?
No?

Spot-on, Histonboy, but it's Fallon's comments I'm on about, the moaning and whingeing to the press, when in the same paper there was a story about Scott Guyett turning his car around when on the way to Cambridge to sign a 3 year-deal for us, ending up in Bournemouth to sign for them.
Any moaning from Brabin? None. Just got on and signed a new player.

Time for you to go back to your own club and start worrying about what is happening. Lets look at the evidence - a certain builder who took Cambridge City apart has his puppet in you chairman seat and the only man who could control him has now resigned. Unlike you i take no pleasure it what could possibly happen to your club now. You seem to delight in our club suffering well i think its time you accepted that every organisation big or small has its weak links and one cog does not the whole engine make. I have no doubt you will come back with some pathetic reply to this post but search your mind before replying and start worrying about YOUR club. At least our club has the decency to call a meeting of the fans to explain their decisions.
