Has anybody heard anything more? It's all gone quiet.
Brian said in his interview yesterday that they can't afford to pay the players. Have any left? Who will be playing for the team on Saturday?
Hopefully the board have some ways they can save some cash and maybe pay a player or two.

CN latest here, but I don't think that news is any younger than Saturday.

I have just listened to Brian post match interview, I feel so sorry for him,I cannot believe that the board has left the problem so late, that they have had to act,as they have done. Surely they must have seen this coming did they just think a fairy would arrive with a bag of money? I am sure they have acted in the best interests of the club, but to let it get to this stage I am amazed, Is it really got to the stage were we cannot put out a team, what happened to the budget forecasts for the year ? we must have started with a game plan, what sudden crisis happened to say,we now have no money ? I feel Brian has been thrown to the Wolves, Are the shareholders not bothered what league we end up in ?Because I am sure if we do not fore-fill our fixtures we will be playing on the Reck,

Think youll find there was a share holders meeting a month or so back, I believe this situation was predicted then as major share holder's were not pumping money into the club and new investers would not invest with so many shares held by one person

If the shareholder concerned will not give up his shares and there is no way forward perhaps the board would consider resigning now, then the club will either be taken over and Histon will survive or they will go into administration, why leave it 28 days for the club to stagger around losing there players anyway. I have deep respect for those involved on the board but the decisions need to be taken now, for the good of the club.
