Evening!x I don't talk football or about our 3 Clubs and related things in football forums anymore. I haven't done since I decided to use my Facebook page 18 months or so ago for all my public net stuff. Being National as such with friends in football throughout the UK means it get's my comment out there further too. I like it. I speak....folk read.....job done. No Net Warriors or Faceless Wonders dare come near....but they read...and are welcome. I generally have something to say and qualify to say it. In this instance....I was at the Hillsborough inquest on day 1. Have kept in touch with folk and events throughout. Those who frequent my FB page know these things.
There are serious issues across the football world...I wrote the below for a thing going out soon Nationwide from the people of Liverpool. I posted it in several FB forums i frequent and as this has been the main window i've communicated through for such things...out of respect.....and I mean that......I know many of you who attend all 3 clubs.....and know you care....then out of respect......I post it in here....X It is an 'appeal' at the end...to your conscience.....actions.....and commitment to this Country....it's people....and a better future for all. Read the link at the end........this is what i said 7 years ago to their reporter when being pursued for a comment in the 'Sooty' racist debate....'verbatim'.....recorded....yet they end up with the linked article front page Globally......
Reporter sez...."What is your ethnicity?"
My standard reply used for years and rolls off my tongue is...."I dunno....I was 'the rent'....me Mam don't know either but I get discounts in restaurants and treated as a 'local' around the World...be it Tunisia...Egypt....Cuba....Columbia and even Mauris have said i have them in me!. So I am happy just being Sooty and getting the discount and friendship the neutral position offers me ....but I don't like being referred to as black....I'm brown".
That 'truth' generated this header front page....
"A BLACK chauffeur nicknamed Sooty, who knows Prince Charles, said yesterday: “There’s nothing racist about him calling his polo chum Sooty.”
Mike Edwards, 47, who has a white mother and Jamaican father, gave HIMSELF the “affectionate” moniker."
.Whilst I have been claimed by many ethnic groups Globally......nobody in my 54 years has ever suggested Jamaican....ever. When I and Max Clifford approached them for an explanation of abusing my 'truth'.....they said...'what you said was a bit 'raw'....so we guessed your ethnicity from your picture'. When quizzed further about the 'black' bit.....the response was...."oh we forgot about that'. I have never in my life used the word 'chum' either.....but it's my words...init.
That story....attitude.....abuse of me and their power/position....was nearly 20 years after Hillsborough headlines. They now disrespect Liverpool and its people.....us Brits.....by having no comment on their own accountability or indeed 'proper' recognition of the outcome of the biggest attempted cover up our Country has ever had over the deaths of 96 people...the injured 800+ and.the worst Sporting disaster in British History.
I won't bore you with the detail....but Murdoch got a pie in his eye at Leverson and chucked out of OUR Country for his abuse. Kind of thing my namesake would have done....init.
How a 'business' can continually get away with abusing innocent folk....Millie Dowler....the phone hacking....all since Hillsborough.....how they are allowed to trade....carry on their sh*te....is incredible. IT IS YOU....the people of Great Britain.....that allow that. YOU buy it....end of. Before 'we' consider others coming in to our Country to potentially abuse us because of their actions and attitude to us.....we should clean our own house up. I stopped buying ALL newspapers in 1983......because I weren't happy with their presentation and representation of us and our Country. I know i'm ahead of my time......but......for 27 years......this bo**ox of a paper has done as it pleases. It needs to go the way of the News of the World......erased.
Cameron....Police....uncaring/non conscientious football fans....all in their back pocket Fortunately for us all....they didn't and don't have the Royals......and never will....I reckon.
I wanted to get that off my chest and indeed didn't want their cr*p mentioned in a more important post I will make later dealing with the Inquest and outcome as i see it....and who should 'fall'.as a consequence. 96 people died....nearly 800 injured/scarred for life and 1000's from around the UK abused for decades......it is down to you 'buyers' to do the right thing. If I think about it....they've abused folk far more than any Muslim group i know of over that time. Priorities? Clean our own house up first......otherwise.....we have no foundation to build on....worth saving....I feel....X

....I changed my name by deed poll......so everyone has to deal with our Nations truth. I have been called a ni**er...w*g...Black B.....in my 54 years.....but never ever has anyone used the word 'Sooty' in a racist/derogatory manner. I'd have pi**ed myself if they had!x Murdoch don't know our culture...and don;t care.....we do.....so should you.....X Kick his bo**ox into touch.....please...X
