Wroxham on a Tuesday night. Very strange time to kick off a season but I guess it's maybe and an indication of the level we are at. We must have requested a league fixture before our FA cup extra preliminary round match on the 5th of August. Wroxham were relegated aswell, from the Ryman North and their record was a fair bit worse than ours in what has been argued is a slightly worse league than the Evosticks. Hopefully, this puts us at an advantage, especially as we have retained a good chunk of the squad that finished the season so well. Fairly longish trip but am prepared to go and see early doors how we might shape up this season. Do really fancy that, finally, this time round we stand a good chance of competing up the top end of the table. Would be nice to be challenging for a change and who knows, this may be the beginning of another successful era for the club.
