How much money do you think comes through the gate from 6 or 700 fans. If you think that pays the wages I wouldn't want you as my banker.

I said yesterday you have to give Roachy 12 months, but now i believe he will NEVER have the repect of the large % of fans even if they got into the league+ his carry ons would earn a place in any carry on films,Fal shouldnt have come back after being suspended if he wasnt such a nice bloke im sure he should have told roachy where to stick his inherited football team.

Just think about it................ what would happen if TR walked out the club today...........if its true that he stopped the club going into administration where will the money come from.
Also as a hard business man I cannot see this as an outcome.....why would he!!!!!!!!!!!.

Also as a hard business man I cannot see this as an outcome.....why would he!!!!!!!!!!!. He is on an ego trip for himself. No one invests in a football club expecting a good return on their money. When he goes Histon will find themselves at the level of football that the club's support can sustain. One minute he is saying he has to get rid of players because we cannot afford them , Next he is talking about going into the football league and extending the ground capacity. One minute he is reinstating Fal the next he is sacking him. The man obviously does not know how to treat people whether they are loyal employees or customers.

Doesn't he have loads of dosh...didn't Gareth say the other week that he......... TR....... would take the club into the league..perhaps GB was being polite and it was ' tongue in cheek'.
Yes he might be on a ego trip...but sometimes they do last for a long time.

I agree with Mike - all the recent press coverage has been about Roach and HIS plans and ideas - even the article about the 30 fans turning up on Boxing Day to clear the pitch had a picture of Roach on his own sweeping the snow - where were the photos of the fans?

After reading numerous posts, i can see both sides of the story, and ,to a certain extent agree with both, regarding boycott or attending. I have a season ticket along with my 2 boys, however I will not be attending anymore matches with the current board guiding the 'Good ship Histon' into the rocks, financially my actions will have no impact as I have parted with my money, but, I would like the board to know I am disgusted with the actions taken, the recent players Jettisoned and the manager, had stamped their Insignia of class and integrity on the club. The how and the why of these departures has been handled in an appaling manner. Board-You should be ashamed!!!
If my children wish to attend I will gladly drop them at the ground (with my dad) but I will not be there. I will be on the bridge.
Taking a stand for the family club we have lost!

Oh woe is me!!! This is all very sad for the club. BUT, things unfortunately change throughout any buisiness. Do you leave your job because your manager changes? Is anyone thinking about the players? How on earth do you think they are feeling?? They have to carry on working hard. Should they have a bad game we are the first to criticise and they come out week in week out to try harder. Boycotting games will only affect the players. They need all the support they can get as ever! Maybe you would all have rather Histon go into Administration and not survive and therefore not exist anymore!!!!

Totally agree Viviette. SHouldn't we be getting behind the players now more than anything? It has been put on here how Roach has saved the club from administration - if this is true and he leaves we won't have a club and is that what everyone wants. Just look at Portsmouth.
