I finished the Great North Run in 2h32 at the weekend. The legs are a bit sore this morning but it was a good warm-up for the marathon over in New York on 2nd November. There were 52,000 people ran the GNR. Only one, as far as I know, ran it in a Histon top! Still time to sponsor me for the Children With Leukaemia charity if you're willing: www.bmycharity.com/marathonftm

Well done Steve.
We did watch the TV coverage but missed you in your Histon shirt!! But there was an aerobatic team in our colours!!
At least you had a sunny dry day for your run, unlike the Hound at Huntingdon!
