You can often here the yells chants etc. from my house, which is a little over a mile away from the Glassworld, so it's more than possible. However Will, i think you may need to get an ear tumpet out to here the 600 or so fans that will be there!!! ;D

That many? In this weather... we will be so lucky! Mind you... we need lots of people to cheer the lads on!

I'm sure if we had the time we could get some University boffin to explain all. Or buy a huge wind turbine which blows the wind in the other direction

HISTON 1-0 DURHAM
Histon on top, header fr the goal. Histon on top but Durham look dangerus on the counter attack.

Well done on your victory.
What's the capacity of your ground and do you think it will be a sellout for the visit of Swindon?

yeah, probably around those figures, guessing youll get 900 standing tickets in the shed at the Bridge Road end and probably 600 seats 2/3rds of the hill resedential stand which is along the far side of our ground. If your fans come on the coach you will be dropped of outside the Railway Vue pub, which is a hit with both home and away fans, its a 2 min walk from the ground.

Capacity has gone up to 4,500. Should be atleast 4,000... u'll probs be given 1,000-1,800 away tickets, depends though. How many do u think u will bring?

I'd say at least 500, not as many as 1,000 though, unfortunately.

A very good performance in atrocious conditions. The weather spoilt both matches but our finishing in this game was deadly. Durham are a good side and played some nice football but I think experience and fitness told in the end. A little too canny for them most of the time but they certainly know how to put the ball in the net. There fans were excellent and a credit to the club. I wish the same could be said about the saddo coach driver sitting next to my mate but every club's got at least one bad loser.
Good luck to Durham for the rest of the season. Quality side.

Who saw that bloke there yesterday with the slicked hair in the histon shirt.
Never seen him in my life before and he was screaming the same thing time after time, hilarious.
"KEEPER THATS MY BALL, GIVE ME MY BALL BACK" "CLOSE HIM CLOSE HIM CLOSE HIM, YES YES YES!!"
