We in Swindon know this will be a tuffy,in truth probably be about 800 making the trip to your place...we have Brighton away next wednesday in the JP cup and some will rather go ther being nearer and a better chance of getting to wembley! Its a very open league your in this year so good luck, you have a squeak of going all the way. If you want to win abit of money....get on Cox to score first! Only kidding and best wishes for your season after saturday.

What's the best place for a drink before the game?

youre best bet is the railway vue, if youre on the clubs coach(es) you will be dropped off and picked up from there. it basically 2 mins from the ground.

Yes, if you can be bothered to have a 10-15 minute walk you can get to the High Street where you have about 5 pubs to choose from (no exaggeration) on a stretch of road about 100 metres long, as well as a few places to eat. Otherwise, the Railway Vue would be a good bet, literally being about a long stone's throw from the club

For a start Histon is about the same distance if not slightly nearer than Brighton. Secondly, it's the FA Cup - a far more important competition. Thirdly, none of us have been to Histon before whereas I'm sure we all have fond memories of Brighton! Can't see us taking more than 250 to Brighton (although I will be there) but should be about 1,000 on Saturday. I'm looking forward to it, although I am not at all confident.

Saw the Swindon scouts at Hinckley last night, think they'd had enough after an hours play! Hopefully they expect us to play like that on saturday, then they'll be in for a real shock ;D;)

I am looking forward to Histon on the weekend. Looking forward to another ground to tick off the list I suppose. Could be a banana skin for us so should be fairly entertaining. We will probably give you your biggest gate of the season and I'm sure your fans and players will be well up for it given it is a big match for you. Your doing well in the conference and will give us a game. Quite a few of us are coming to Histon. Should be a good match. Please say hello (and beat) Oxford (again) for us!

When would a possible replay take place. Next week or the week after?

Replays from the first round onwards are at least a week after the original tie. So if its a draw on Saturday the replay will most likely be Tues 18 Nov.

Hey Gazza - great site - thanks for putting my responses to your questions up, however I had a good old belly laugh when I read your match prediction: "Well this game is going to be a tough one. I would think the match will be pretty evenly matched however as the game goes on Swindon's fitness should shine through. We are going to say a 4-2 Swindon win but our winning goals will come late." You obviously haven't heard of John Beck - a good part of the reason we're doing so well this season is because of his famous fitness regime and we have the fittest squad in the league - If you're not well in front by the last quarter then I would expect its our fitness that will come shining through cheers Darren PS - your travel by train section tells people to get the tube to Euston and then head up to Cambridge - thats wrong - you need to get the tube to Kings Cross to get a train to Cambridge. Also the number 7 bus runs every 10 mins from Cambridge Station to Histon. Ask the driver to stop at the Railway Vue pub and the ground's a few minutes walk from there.
