Don't even know what to say anymore. Hit the wood work 3 times as well ! Feel for Brian really. Players need to get their heads in gear if we're to avoid relegation. The games against Gloucester are becoming bigger by the second !

I went and watched this, first half they only had two shots and scored two goals as ever our pace and movement was superb, second half was a disaster, players out of position, heads down. I am not a coach I just watch and ask myself what is going wrong,it seems to me we no longer have the centre backs splitting wide for calumn to pass the ball to, but he is kicking it forward to the big centre forward, who cannot hold the ball up and that just means the ball is straight back at the defense, also when our fullbacks push on past the midfield,if the midfielder who has the ball loses it, again we are in trouble because no one is filling in for the fullbacks, every midfielder is pushing forward to far,we need some one to hold back, Grant and Taffe were doing this but now with a change in positions this does not happen,I am not having a go at anyone in particular because these are all young lads learning there trade and I include Brian in this, but as an example yesterday I watched Nick (who I consider the most improved player over the last 4 games)lose the ball in midfield on one of his mazey runs, time and time with most of the midfield in front of him, when a pass would have slipped numerous Histon players through, the dilema is do you ask him not to run which is his strength,or do you stop the fullbacks pushing on,past him, sorry Nick just using you as an example. For me I think we need to go back to basics keep the back four tight, two holding midfielders, and attack on the break with the pace of Taffe, Nick Zak,and Hicks, leave Grant and Jay as holding midfielders with no license to go forward if both have the job of filling in for players pushing on this should keep our defense solid. Brian it seems to me is trying to hard and is playing the game from the dugout, perhaps it would be a good idea to have a seat in the stands and watch from there to see the teams shape a little better, the pressure on him must be immense ! But what do I know, I am just a spectator with an opinion right or wrong I will still pay my tenner and enjoy the game, come on you stutes !!!!

Can't agree more. I've always thought that we need to tighten up a the back and Jay and Grant are perfect for two defensive midfield roles!Peter Grant returning was a massive boost but it sounds like the defence didn't play well yesterday and I think we are in desperate need of a proper left back. Eugene has also played well at defensive mid and he's a good option too when he returns, but Built is going to be key when he comes back, him, taaffe, Nick (who's been on fire recently) and Claudiu are good attacking options to have and with them attacking it means we can focus on tightening the defence. Also, look out on the website for the match report for tuesday's game, should be going up today, sorry for it going up so late!!
