Half time and for 40 minutes of that half it has been one of the worst performances I've seen from Histon players over the years. Eugene, Built, White, Callum, Will de Haviland excluded because they were really good. The rest need a good kick up the backside! That miss from a yard out sums up that half! We could be 5 down!

Without doubt one of the worst performances I've seen in quite a while. Just aimlessly kicking the ball forward, not marking players and being out worked. Solihull passed around us like it was a training session. Final score was flattering for us, should have been a lot more. Callum in goal made some good saves, I think he should have come for the 2nd goal, free header inside his 6 yard box, good save though. Harry at right back had a bad game I thought, seemed slow and all over the place. Ash White had a good game. The two centre backs tried their hardest and at times it seemed Will de Haviland was playing Solihull on his own in the first half. Eugene Libertucci was a workhorse and tried his best, too many wacks forward though. Michael Clunan seemed off the pace and his passing was wayward which was unusual for him. Nick Freeman, did he do anything useful at all? I saw one attempt at a sliding tackle, that was it. Charlie Day, poor, usual work rate wasn't there and did he do anything useful? Michael Built, tried his best when he got the ball, but had hardly any help from teammates. Salim, that miss from a yard out summed his performance up and the majority of the teams.
Really dissapointed and I heard people just want the ref to blow the whistle to end the game. Awful to watch.

EWC that is a very harsh assessment of the game. What do expect from an inexperienced team who have so much to learn. It's men v boys every week, your manager has no budget and the players are giving everything. Just keep supporting your team and hope the financial side is sorted out. If Page had five experienced players in the Clerima mould you would be fine. The realism is that a team of 19 year olds will get beaten most weeks . Strength, experience and know how wins games. Good luck to the team in last two games.

Solihull didn't use strength to win today, they played the ball around, while we kept booting it forward. Can't win a game if you keep giving the ball back to the other team. I've seen the team (with those players in it) play much better then they did today, so they can do it, hence the frustration.

Have to agree with berby here ! Lets be honest its effectively histon academy fc now. You can't expect them to play well against and beat sides that have an abundance of playing experience, im sure people recognised exodus who has reached the dizzying heights of the championship. All we as supporters can do now is stick it out and cheer them on because lets be honest, of course everyone who attended today's game hoped for a win but in reality we all no the ones there today were supporting histon as a club rather than expecting good football and a win.
Still the flame isn't out yet ! I will be at Gainsborough with 3 others in support of the mighty stutes, so come along and see if we can achieve survival ! COYS !!!
