For those interested...here is a link to a football program that was on Cable TV some 12/13 years ago. I got involved as the students who started the project all did a runner for the Summer leaving the show which had become established....abandoned...so I filled in as I was twiddling me thumbs with a sabbatical at the time as a research & investigator for a local Solicitor......this....was 'chill out'....which I needed for sure at the time!x The show was called Amber & Black....and over 15 months or so we made 30+ episodes! I have about 20+ of them preserved for posterity! I have just bought myself some new kit...a VHS/DVD recorder....which enables me to convert all me VHS tapes to DVD to be able to upload to Utube after a bit of messing! So I am practicing by putting 'live' the shows we did. Yes...the show surrounded Cambridge United....however.....Graham Eales...Omar Riza.....Tony Scully...John Beck and some ex U's who are now Stutes all feature prominently in the episodes and i do believe we have some Steve Fallon stuff among it all too! Nobody else has this footage I believe and for many it will be the first time ever and should nring some smiles and happy memories along with some emotion as many folk have passed away since.....X
Amazingly.....there is nobody at CUFC today who was in the Boardroom...Playing Staff or staff......left at the club just 13 years later!!!!!x The only onees that are is Ian Darler the Groundsman....whose always done his job well. Greg Reed the Physio is still at the club 'officially' too....but that's it!! Good job someone from the terraces and behind the scenes who knows where we come from.....init?!!!!x So...it's 'local' football stuff in the main and there for your pleasure!x

For those real keen....I haven't watched the shows for perhaps 10 years or so. I joined the 'Team Cambridge' as John Beck had just arrived back at United 2000. He had been somewhat of an enigma in the football world and his 'philosophy/attitude and dynamic' approaches intrigued me as I was familiar with it all as i'd been induced into that way of thinking.....in 1983 by Americans! Over the shows as our confidence 'working together' developed....our 'chats' blossom as the episodes go along....and even I am 'fascinated' as Spock would say! Some super 'confrontations' and indeed 'psychological' battles as our relationship became strained are all on show which even with hindsight.....was enjoyable I recall!x The show became 'cult' on Cambridge Cable and certainly Tim Lovejoy took some of our ideas and implemented them in his successful productions. I know that because he todd me at the time....I had sent him all our shows on tapes! Max who heads up his show these days was busy at BBC Radio Cambridgeshire too at the time and again watched the shows as many local BBC folk featured regularly. He knew the script for certain! It was a good thing for all.....and I hope you enjoy them!x

Episode 2...'Tour De Swansea' is up featuring last game of the season 2000 at Swansea as they were getting relegated to the 3rd Division.....!!
Featuring interviews with Omar...John Beck and Graham Eales at his best from a Stutes perspective!x It also captures the knocking down of the old Allotment and preparation for the new South Stand which all away fans such as Stutes/Lilywhites and all have the pleasure of frequenting today.......except me 'cos i'm still banned.....I think!x Enjoy!x

I know Ewc999....but pick out what's of interest and dump the rest...I suggest!x As for posting on U's website....I ain't been in there for a couple of years and don't even have an account! I ain't needed to go there for owt either!! Equally the 'powers' that oversee the pixels in that page of cyber 'purge' any application I have made in the past 5 years! Pointless then for all init!x.....and tbf.....it's best I don't!x I'd be hit with kids sh*te and at present i'm dealing with grown up stuff and can't have ankle biters or wannabee faceless net warriors seeking my attention....end of....X

I stood alone against many who proved to be false prophets and pi** takers. In 12 years I don't recall anyone from the U's in the stands or Board that ultimately stood by my side....when it counted or was needed. I didn't need them too....as I came through every time.....but.....it left all the Lee Power 'lovers'...George galavanters and those duped by Law...who was being lawless...and the Barry brown nosers....compromised. The collateral is....I know too much....about all.....and can look them all in the eye! No probs as I can forgive.....and have....I mean they ain't pedded anybody init!!! But they can't forget....their roles...sadly...X All the classic 'group dynamics' kick in and well......a mess...as we have all witnessed!x Leaders lead Ewc....and make the sacrifices too. I leave them to it....happily...X

So back to today....

The A&B was 'chill out' for me 12 years ago....it is done with the same approach today in the manner I have presented it...and where i've communicated it. I haven't been as active in here or Lilywhites this year either.....priorities. Football...local clubs....and THEIR 'situations'.....not my problem...or interest as such at present and hasn't been since January this year. I invested 12 'quality' years into doing whatever I did for you all. All 3 clubs are still here today. I helped Kev Satchell save his club...as a U. I confronted Gareth Baldwins attempt to jump ship at your expense....and demise...as a U. I have 'saved' United from numerous 'rogues' and you've all heard the names enuff to not have me repeat them. But I have.....as a U. That's what you all perceived. For me...I was applying my ability among my Community....Cambridge and area....cuppa in hand....no shirt...colours....or 'loyalty' other than to what was right for 'the people'. Nobody can prove different. But...that ability if you like....is being focused on larger groups and things these days. Time management really. If 1 hour a day spent over here in local football cyber/issues helps say 4/5000 folk have somewhere to go as it has helped in the past 12 years....then great....and it has been. But today....that 1 hour invested elsewhere...helps 50,000...minimum. Time management.....and my time is going where it is most effective.

12 years ago I 'invested' about 2000 free hours into A&B. I have about 60 VHS vids with footage collected from as far back as 13 years ago. About a third of which are relevant to football folk. I found the bundle of A&B and thought it a good place to start putting all on DVD! I have made over 100 documentaries/programs since A&B....about 30 are to do with football but not from around here! I gathered in my travels knowledge from every corner of clubs be they Fans Groups or Board...or Terraces........all 'proper' info for any keen supporter of a club! All captured for....erm.....sharing? There are snippets in interviews with each club United played as the programs get going.....and I guarantee you will get comment from 'officialdom' that you would never hear on mainstream telly....honest! In fact that's the key word....I get 'honesty' from them....and it can be worked with and on!x Some of the info/advice ideas shared will raise proper dosh for any group who believe in their thing and commit to it...12 years on.....timeless stuff i'd say. All super.....for those wishing to preserve their heritage and willing to tap into others experiences and intellectual as well as emotional opinion! I'm just the messenger....middle man as such 'bridging the gaps'!x

From January to April I invested my 'spare time' into doing a favour for Nigel Farage. He did a massive favour for me by defending my ex wife on National TV over the School Cook/Muslim food 'sacking' which went Global! So I owed him as such. It resulted in me doing 30,000 miles around the UK and impacting positively about 300,000 folk...we reckon. Since April i've devoted that spare 'football' time to the Commonwealth games.....impacting....millions! I am off to Scotland again now as I and my staff are looking after the VIPs staying on Britannia and a Luxury Liner docked at Leith during the games. My efforts up there having 'quality' time with 'influential folk' as I shuttle them back and forth will impact positively potentially 50 million+ folk?!x Heads of States...Ministers and the like...I talk with them and give opinion and advice as I would to any human in my company....because they is human too...and appreciate such an approach....I have found. So....i'm promoting 'unity' on a Global stage....which is all i've done 'locally'...or tried too...over the past 12 years. In here with the A&B....i'm just 'promoting' happy memories......nowt else...X Do your thing whatever club...and I hate to say it as it was a George saying...but.....I say it sincerely....I wish you all well with it...X



This is Lou. She pipes all the VIPS on and off Britannia...is the Queens favourite piper and has been for years. We met up t'other week whilst Lou was practicing as the Queen was just across the water blessing the new Aircraft Carrier being built and had a small reception for VIPS in which Louise was due to perform. I did an article in Scotland using this pic and stuff surrounding it...it got 180,000 'global' hits and not 1 'dissenter'. Why am I really up there??? To ensure we stay 'together'.....ultimately....nowt to do with 'sport'...X Same here for the last 12 years......my efforts were to affect situations 'Nationally'....nowt to do with 'sport'. Read the 'Confessions' thread....all self explanatory.  I'd love to post the A&B stuff on the U's website Ewc999....but got more important things to address at present! Not giving it laaaarge or owt....just being honest.....so you all deal with it....whilst i'm away....flying the flag!x No offence meant to anyone....just keeping it 'real'....from my perspective!x



Listen up folks....I wear 'the flag' everyday.....pig out on it....and have done in some way for 20+ years now. You all see it...and like to see it because you tell me so. Yesterday I went to Bedford...Reading...Portsmouth....Brighton...Lewes and finished in a Jewish family's Mansion in Kingston before home. I get a positive reaction to my wearing the flag everywhere I go and did do yesterday among Jews...Turks....Asians and Brits whom I had to visit. Had over 30 folk insist on having a pic with me wearing my flag....all random. I will be wearing it everywhere I go in Scotland....and always do. It generates debate....invites opinion....and wins 'votes' where it counts. Like the chicken moans to the pig about having to lay an egg each day for breakfast.......pig reply's....yeah mate...for you it's a routine....but for me breakfast is total commitment....!  Always has been for me too....before A & B....during the past 12 years.....and for my future. I put me football shirt on once a week....proudly...but casually. We all have to believe in and support something......I believe in you all and have supported you all in ways and means....and that's why I have done....and do what I do...proudly....X In comparison.....I can't wear a U's shirt...deserving....and get past the turnstile. Different game...and League init? I promoted myself out of it....X Have a good week and I will be back to put more up at the weekend. Thank you to those who have sent messages/emails via Social media and the like to thank me for going to the trouble of putting this 'archive' up on line!x Those folk come from across the local 'divide'! Think about it...I did before I put them up...there has been so much inter mingling over the past 10 years along with 'alliances' behind the scenes that we are all impacted by each clubs 'happenings'! We have shared players...Managers...Staff...and even Chairmen on occasion! Remember when Gareth was 'Consultant' to Phil Law?! Precisely!x
So...A&B #3 is up and for you Stutes there is a super early interview with Tony Scully when he had just joined the U's. I found him to be a great guy 14 years ago and many of you found the same in recent years! Prior to that interview is a...well...'quality' interview with JB where he shares some of his then philosophy/sports science which I think is still relevant today as it was ahead of ts time back then! JB at his best methinks!x The JB interview starts at 30 mins and goes into the Tony Scully interview straight after....12 mins in total....and your welcome!x
