I see on Twitter the team won 2-0? I couldn't get over to watch due to work.
How did the team play? Was it a feisty game with Brian's former staff members desperate to beat him?

With temperatures in the high 20s it was never going to be a frantically energetic game, which remained fairly even throughout with neither side creating many chances. We played well in midfield showing a desire to win and hold the ball that I haven't seen very often lately. Long diagonal passes, however, were rarely completed - especially in the first half. Needs work if we are going to mix in some long ball. There was the usual indecision in the final third which led to fewer chances than there ought to have been. Defensive mistakes leading to St Ives' chances were mopped up by the keeper, who - though having nothing to do for long periods - was in the right place when he was needed.
Performances of note: Ordonez in goal, Peter Clark in midfield who slotted some great passes forward, Mensah up front bullying the St Ives defence. Though no-one played particularly badly.
Judging by the continuous stream of effing and blinding coming from the home dugout, Ricky was taking it quite seriously.
