The right back who then went into centre mid in the second half on Saturday, he looked quality. Peter Grant, Stuart Wall and whoever is up top, we need goals!

Pre-season, Brian was quick to sign a (4 yrs of experience), 22 year old, ex-academy/Stute midfielder.
A local ex Kit Carson academy lad, who in the final year of Histon rezzies was playing alongside Jim Stevenson, Zac Mills, Jay Dowie, etc. Not a striker but was the second highest goalscorer (after Taffe) winning won more MOM at away games than any other player.
He left for university, paying his way through college by playing at similar/higher levels than Histon on the south coast (he also led his Uni team to the BUCS cup final).
While Jim, Zac, Taffe, etc. were making a name for themselves at the glassworld. He was doing the same at clubs in Eastbourne while studying.
He’s finished his studies and during this summer turned down (3 figure sums of) money from his previous clubs to come back to the village and play at his home club for FREE.
Now I don’t know if he’s upset the gaffer or why a player of his calibre hasn't been played. But so much for Loyalty, ability and experience.

Not Injured, Not played. The oldest player in the squad with the most experience, good grief ! How to look after your best, loyal and most experienced players by H.F.C. - Case studies using Ben, Charlie and Simon. Good luck for the rest of the season.
