Hi Frome fan here. Travelling up to this one but saw pictures of some of your incoming roads last night on the news, is there any danger of it being called off?

Just a quick welcome to Bridge Road for the Frome fans and Histon can we have a nice season of mid-table obscurity? No drama's no last minute survival or relegation, just a nice straight forward season.........please.

Well, what can you say? One of the most memorable refereeing performances I've seen for a long time, all for the wrong reasons! Forgotten how many times we should have got something from a game but come away with nowt! Surely this streak will break at some point? Can't knock the work ethic of the lads. Just need to be a bit more decisive around the box. Get the ball on the deck and get these donkey centre halves running towards their goal, they don't like it; look at the goal we got! An excellent finish from Joe. Another tough ask on Tues, Biggleswade are no mugs so hopefully we can turn our effort into chances and our keeper won't be a victim of GBH! Onwards!!

A tough loss to take. A great goal from Joe. I thought both our wingers played well today and they could be great for us this year. Their penalty was right, it was a foul. Their second goal was a joke, shocking decision from the ref. Our red card I can understand, on a yellow already you can't raise your hands, but their player should have had a straight red for the late tackle in the first place, it was high, late and dangerous. Ref was useless, but I think there will be a few more like him this season, we're in proper non-league now. The back four played well up to the red. Wingers as I've said played well. Eugene was running around a lot and making tackles. I thought Peter was poor. He didn't really do much on the ball and defensively he wasn't great. Our number 10 looks a decent player, a bit too many tricks, but looked a threat. Our number 9 struggled holding the ball and passing it, but first game of the season, I'm sure he'll come good. Great to see Harry O'Malley back and played.

I thought we did well today and deserved a draw but we were sloppy on to many occasions and our passing has to be more clinical. If it was then we would have taken them apart today as they looked distinctly average. Someone said to me today they have a lot of money but going on what I saw ud have thought their budget was similar to ours if not worse ! Ref and lino on the hills residential were a joke and the only reason he sent their two blokes off was because he knew he'd cocked up. Their second goal was a joke as well, I saw him just about to blow for what was an obvious foul on the keeps buy he bottled it at the very last second !
Overall based on that we ll be alright this season but we need to be less sloppy and more decisive ! Looking forward to biggleswade next tues, onwards and upwards !

Blimey you're a bitter lot
Very poor game from both sides I thought, we had a 4 hour journey, missing 5 first teamers, our on loan striker from Woking to help cover lasted 20 minutes and we came away with 3 points so very happy with that.
Not sure where you lot heard about our budget from as it is definitely bottom 3 for the league as it always has been.
Regarding the winning goal, I actually thought it had been disallowed but fact is it was actually your own player that clattered your keeper, all be it from our player going through him in effect but was certainly nothing wrong with it just a very good running leap and header which to be fair the ref was letting go all game.
One thing that surprised me was your attendance, are people not interested now you have been relegated? as noticed you used to get a lot more than that last season.
Very nice ground though and the pitch was lovely, good luck for the rest of the season.

Not bitter just honest reflection. Nice to see my inistial post has made ur forum, cheers for the fame . Enol our keeper posted a picture after the game with his eye bust open, sonim pretty sure hes the best judge of who did it, ie one of ur lot. As for thinking we re big timers I just laughed when I read that. We ve had the worst budget in our respecrive leage for the past 3/4 seasons so we re all actually fairly grounded when it comes to league expectations. I have nothing against frome and all the best for the rest of the season but it doesnt change the fact that the ref gave u a huge helping hand !
