Well it was a bit better today and we got a point. A little dicey at times, but a point is a point. We do need to create some decent chances, we get somce chances but compared to what other teams create against us they aren't great. This point and clean sheet could be the springboard now hopefully. Keep the defence/keeper keeping the opposition out and hopefully the good attacking football will follow with some goals (our goals return this year isn't good).
Tough game away on Tuesday against St Neots, who must be annoyed that despite all the money they've thrown at players and trying to sign their way out of the league, they aren't right up the top.

Well what to make of that? Mixed opinions....The defence played well, Duran Reynolds is a great signing, really improved the defence. They kept Hereford out for most of the game and when they did get through, enol made some magnificent saves and the post came to our rescue twice. But again we look rushed into clearing it long...when we passed it about we could be really dangerous, the first time they had possession in our half was on 7 minutes, we were moving the ball around superbly and if Henry had taken his chance and nick and mateusz could have sunk their shots we would have a crucial goal to hang onto. McGeorge and Lowe looked good when they had time, I felt Lowe did play quite a few long balls which mateusz had no chance with, but they look good assets and mcgeorge covered the back line really well. Burgess and Rumens looked solid at fullbacks and I felt sorry for mateusz as Randall and freeman kept dropping back to support leaving him deserted when trying to hold the ball up, but I felt all 3 of them had decent games, just need to be a bit more creative and have more shots! A decent performance and a first clean sheet of the season and with more experience coming in mcgeorge and Reynolds, hopefully we can build on this. Shame to see akintunde was ill today because he could have been the bit of pace and electricity we needed up top. Hopefully we can give st Neots a run for their money on Tuesday!

Couldn't agree with your analysis of the game more Jenko One of my biggest issues is that Brian and the coaching staff spend more time shouting and moaning at the referee and linesman than they do talking to and coaching the players. Very soon I'm sure someone will be getting a touch line ban, and the lack of discipline from the bench is showing on the field from the players. Anyway up the stutes

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, and I felt that, though Hereford might well have taken the 3 points, a draw was a just result. Having heard the critical comments from City fans about the standard of the Histon team I thought I'd take a look, with an interest too in howHereford were performing at this level. As I said, I was quite impressed with both teams. Hereford, I thought looked in a false position as they knocked the ball about with intelligence and skill, but were found lacking inside the Histon box. The same might be said of Histon, as they too failed when it came to the final act. Some unfortunate luck in both boxes and some good goalkeeping from both custodians, plus a little bit of ineptitude up front resulted in the scoreless finality. I do agree, to an extent, at the comment regarding the vociferous output from the dugout. I didn't like how Ordonez got a right going at for not leaving his line once in the first half when the ball was played over Reynolds and his lack of I pace put the keeper in two minds whether to come or whether to stay put. Surprised that the Asst Manager chose to blame the keeper there, considering the obvious connection.. Also, there was a bit of stick dished out to the officials which I don't like, but it is customary, sadly. But, once again, a visit to the Glassworld was an entertaining event, and as I have said before, there is always a nice, friendly atmosphere when Histon entertain and I believe Brian Page will get it right and keep the Stutes in the SLP. I hope so.
