I won £20 on a £1 lottery ticket and treated myself to a Chinese take away and your second half!x I had been to play 5 a side for the first time this year dogged due to commitments elsewhere.....and to be honest.....couldn't keep me foot pressed on the accelerator for too long so needed a rest on me way home......but didn't get one!!!x A 2nd half full of intent and coordinated effort....super!x I've read the concerns shared by Stutes on here....and after seeing last nights performance....I was right to suggest you 'keep the faith'! A thanx to David Livermore for supplying your keeper....X Confident....commanding and vocal with authority.....kept order at the back I saw and heard! The U's loanee.....BRILLIANT....and will be an asset to the U's i'm sure unless JG get's a 'deal' of benefit to him. But that's anuver story and anuver club. I intentionally stood near Brian to hear his Management skills at play! Everything he said....was bang on.....i'd say! He shared the same joy...and frustrations that us fans did watching events unfold! Yes their keeper wos Dodgy......and the number 3 lippy........but that don't make excuses for your 'quality' number 12 to not pass....when creating such marvellous opportunity for the team!x Whilst it was obvious the squad was tiring in the final minutes.....the effort to 'run again' and defend with all your might.....was still there to the end....fantastic!x On the performance I saw last night...and if it can be consistent...you should be safe....I reckon!x A privilege to be the first to congratulate you Brian at the final whistle...an adventure indeed and chocks away Skipper i'd say!x

Good post Sooty. Couldn't agree more re the friendly people at Histon, though it's very worrying how the attendances are dropping. Alarmingly low last night. Surprised Brian felt that the keeper needed replacing. Seen Enol play only twice, admittedly, but he was excellent both times. But David Livermore's lad sounds like a confident and imposing young keeper. Hope last night was the start of a run of decent results.

...just got this from the 'Official site'.....not like me to go on any OS tbf....but was keen to hear your result upon my return!x Job being done i'd say Brian....!!!x As for the crowd Clive.....with the U's doing well then it will be a challenge! Folk who look after things up the U's reported back that the Main stand was sold out around 2.40pm yesterday....!!x However....a consistent run of results will bring the faithful Stutes back out......usually!x On crowd figures.....how does City fair since being at Histon Clive?!x
