Finally, the win out recent performances have merited. 3 at the back worked well, and I thought we look better with Danny Rumens playing there. Denzel commands the penalty area well and inspires confidence. Akintude was fantastic up front. He scored a great goal from the edge of the box and created the other two. He looked strong and held the ball up well. Peter Clark used the ball well and went forward with purpose. Pleased to see him get a goal. 3-0 perhaps flattered us a bit. They had good periods in the game and could have scored. Nick's goal came from the worst goalkeeping mistake you are ever likely to see. Somehow the feeblest of shots from 25 yards trickled through the keeper's grasp into the corner of the net, but it was the bit of luck we needed. Hopefully we can take this into Saturdays match and push on against Hungerford.

Well what to say about the game.... Let's not get carried away but a completely different performance from Saturday and it was great to see the lads look like they enjoyed themselves,, Biggleswade were awful and the number 3 was enjoyable to wind up but we deserved to win. On a slightly negative note (sorry to those who don't like negativity.....not) Nick Freeman did not play well when he came on, he played with no energy and did his usual trick of not releasing the ball. Onto the next game, up the Stutes
