I think we're all a bit shell-shocked, Sooty With one thing and another, I've not been able to get to games recently but I would be intrigued to know what has changed to turn things around. New strategy, different attitude, better coaching? Anyone who has actually seen us win have an opinion?

two big differences i can see; 1 the goal keeper is top class and has given the whole defence confidence 2 the midfield are moving the ball with quality and speed

I reckon the last time we won 4 in a row was back in December 2008. Actually six in a row, including the little matter of a win over Leeds United

"Anyone who has actually seen us win have an opinion?" Well I only went to the Biggleswade 2nd half Marxian....and it seemed to me you 'had it' within the camp!x Reading other folks stuff it looks under way!x

...on a parallel....I am about to upload Amber & Black 13 which featured the U's at Posh in div 2 2001/2!x It was the last time U's played Posh in the League I believe! Super stuff throughout....but....as a consequence I have had to capture episode 14 to 'plug' it with its pics on the end of AB13.......and it is the game V Cardiff City at the Abbey! I watched the show for the first time in 11 years today. Gobsnmacked. From a run of defeats.......against an £8 million investment....and the U's 'walked it'........euphoria EXPLODES...from the Chairman to the stewards! 1 match away.....from that next big win! Niggleswade....Leeds.....all the same...init!x Bottom line is.....keep the faith!x

Been more organised and actually keep possession of the ball. I personally think Fulcher has helped with the football being better.

Now 5 on the bounce after a good battling performance yesterday. Playing 3 at the back has been a great move by Brian. We look so much more solid and our shape is better.
Roll on Saturday. We got well beaten by Chippenham earlier in the season, but I think this will be a closer contest.

Christ, this forum is about as lively as City's!!!!! Today...... Sorry but this was as bad as I've seen the Stutes play in the 4 home games I've watched this season. Cray, I thought, were a pretty decent outfit, considering they were a step below Histon & City. Fully deserved their win. And sorry too - their second goal was NOT offside (IMO), despite the strong protestations from Brian and Lance. They really did themselves no favours with their animated protests to the Lino. On the day, I thought Histon's General ineptitude made Cray look better than maybe they are in reality. Though, as I said, I thought they played some good stuff, and were as good a side as I've seen at Bridge Road over the last two seasons. That really puts into perspective the generally poor standard of the SLP(IMO). It's not all about ability and tactics. As shown today, once a team gets an early goal, confidence becomes the overriding issue, and the suffering side has a mountain to climb, but if I was a Stutes fan, I'd still have every confidence in Brian to keep them in this Division, though it will be mighty difficult. Can't see anyone else managing it on the budget he has. If anyone should complain week in, week out about the budget it is Brian Page. But he doesn't keep on about it, to his credit.
