Well I honestly feel sorry for anyone who bothered to make the trip. Despite the league getting tougher I genuinely believed we'd be on for a much stronger start to the season considering the players we have secured but shipping 14 goals in the opening 4 games really has left me devoid of any confidence. I know its still early days yet but we are now already massively on the back foot. Quite clearing things aren't clicking and something needs to change sharpish whether its the managments tactics, player's attitudes or both otherwise we'll be well and truly cemented in the bottom 4 places and getting sub 100 gates through the autumn and winter months.

I still feel this team is more than capable of a mid table finish but they need to dig deep now and show their mettle especially with the visit of top of the table Chippenham this coming Saturday. So come on lads, SORT IT OUT !!

Yes, agree.
Have to say I saw worrying signs on Saturday, though I didn't expect Slough to be too difficult a hurdle.
The defence, as a unit, has weaknesses that will be exploited in this League.
Sam Ives needs a No9 to feed off.
Brian will now need to make a change or two, and he will now be under more pressure than anyone else.

We unfortunately had days like this before and the team has bounced back. I'm sure things will be sorted out and changes made, be it personnel, tactics or whatever.

Definitely not how we all hoped the season would start, but it's not how you start a race, but how and where you finish it.

Hopefully the turn out on Saturday is good to give the team a boost.

That video is the radio highlights. Unfortunately if you do a search on YouTube the actual highlights are there of the game.

I was trying to be positive, but after watching the highlights it's hard to be. Our goal came from a long hoof forward and a awful clearance by the keeper. If you watch the highlights I'll be amazed if you can disagree with me about what I said regarding Saturdays game and a centre back, a complete liability at the back.

No one will argue that the defending was appalling in that video. As Ewstute said previously we need to get to the GW Saturday and get behind the team. BP will be aware of any weaknesses the team may have and it's up to the players to step up before the rot sets in. We need some experience at the back but that costs money. The Budget is what it is and we need an improved performance against the League leaders on Saturday to boost confidence. You get ups and downs with a young side and no one knows that better than Histon supporters !
