Back to back wins at last!! Well done everyone. To those doubters and critics, if you think hoof-ball is what is played at the GWS, you must visit St Neots! There, you will see the very best of hoof-ball football. Every player encouraged to hammer it forward and skywards. The best striker I've seen in the SLP this season is left looking into the sky and the lovely turf in no danger of being used. Utterly horrific. So friends, don't be quite so critical. COYS

Cliveh I couldn't agree more, fantastic result even though I admit to being critical of the team in the past. I also went to St Neots today to witness the worst 90mins of football I've seen in a long while. Your Hoofball quote doesn't quite seem to justify their style of play. The small amount of football that was played was by the opposition; who I can't believe are in the top 6!! They have turned some obviously talented footballers into mindless machines scared to do anything other than what they are told thus leaving their imagination in the changing room. If Mr Moneybags thinks this is the way out of this league then I seriously hope that he is mistaken. The people of St Neots are voting with their feet, just over 300 there today, pitiful given their expectations. So please lets maintain some style in our play and do not resort to previous tactics; otherwise we might end up being as bad as St Neots

IT was a horror show and the 3 mates I was with stood between the 'voices of wisdom' . Constant vocal instructions were directed to the players, often of different persuasion. The players looked totally perplexed. The best player on the pitch, IMO, was Shane Blackett, the Saints new signing. He clearly did not require any instructions. He was in control of the back 4, yet all we heard were non productive instructions yelled from the touch line. Coaching staff patently at odds with each other. It was pathetic. The ball launched forward at every opportunity. Decent players reduced to robots with no variation, nor individual thought. Cirencester were little more than average, but tried to play a bit of football. Any other result would have been a travesty of justice. So Stutes fans, be careful what you wish for. What we have is something to behold compared with what the Saints fans have. Agree that this was as bad as I've ever seen football at this level.

A number of us have been asking for the team to play as they've shown they can and if they are then it's no surprise they are winning. There are some very talented players in the squad who can pass a ball very well, as well as beat players with skill. Long may it continue and not be a false dawn.
St Neots were very direct against us at GWS last season. It is mischievously evil to get pleasure out of their misfortune after seeing how much money they throw about.

No pleasure gained, I can assure you ewstute. I am enjoying the Saints' re-incarnation and everything about the club. I played for them. 30 odd years ago. There are some super people involved, and the Chairman is genuine, dedicated, and a St Neots man through & through. Being a multi millionaire is a bonus!! Good luck to them all. The fans are loving the experience and who can deny them the success the club has gained thus far. But they clearly loathe the style of play being dished up, and who can blame them? Attendances will dwindle watching playground football. Appalling. The scenario at the GWS is not the same. Our defenders need to play the ball short much more than they currently do, with the likes of Ryan & Rogan being even more authoritative in that area. When you watch a lot of sides in this SLP it makes you realise the talent Brian Page has at his disposal.

Histon are playing with a better shape so the passing quality has improved over the last couple of games. Before it's been far too cavalier with the 5 defending and 5 attacking become separated and too open, which needed the long ball. The midfield is now controlling the game.

We are now the top goalscoring team in the league. So lets stop moaning about the perceived standard of football and get behind the lads.
