There have been some great times at Histon and some lows, but losing to a team that play in the local league on recreation grounds, like the ones next to the Glassworld, and who got smashed 7-0 the other week is not acceptable. They probably even play subs each week to play. They outplayed us tonight and deserved to win.
It's time to get serious. Drawing with a team bottom of the league and then this are not good. Things go on like this we'll be playing against them soon.
Whoever the new lad playing, dark hair, number 6? Not good enough, definitely shouldn't be playing.
What is going on? Fallon has a grace period obviously, but has there really been any improvement?

Firstly it's good to have you back at the Glassworlds Ewstute!
I will keep my analysis of the game short because I believe it deserves nothing more. That was one of the worst games I have seen Histon play. Even when we have lost by more there have still been some positives but not last night. The performance, attitudes and professionalism from the players was disgraceful and to have two Histon team mates fighting towards the end was not acceptable. Not much support there last night but hardly surprising!

Couldn't make last night but I'm not looking too much into it. I was told that it was a game played in 2nd gear, albeit it terribly which is pretty disappointing. Was a little surprised with the team sheet but then I thought they haven't had a game in a while so why not, it'll keep them on their toes and possibly a chance again to try out new things on the pitch. However if they think they can just turn up regardless of how important the game is or what standard the opposition is and put in a half arsed display then they shouldn't be wearing a histon shirt. I think the squad is good and has the potential to be even better, but they have to remember they aren't superstars. Most are young enough and talented enough to still potentially forge a relatively good career out of football, especially as the likes of Augs and Ives have played a few levels above, but most of them have to realise they're at this level for a reason and if they want to progress then they have to bloody well work hard for it instead of expecting to get picked up by a bigger club.
I hope this doesn't seem like an over reaction. Like I said above I'm not looking into last nights result as any major cause for concern. However it's a stark reminder that we've got to have the right attitude and effort level for every game.

After the showing last night it's definitely not an over reaction!
Tough game on Saturday against a team fighting to win the league. I dread to think what the score will be if the performance is the same! Apart from Freeman hitting the bar, did we actually test their keeper?!
In the paper last week it said Lance Key was considering his future. Does anybody know what that is about?

Agree with the above, certainly the worst game I have ever seen. Will always accept mistakes and inexperience but cannot accept such a shocking attitude shown by anyone wearing a Histon shirt, Brown was the only one to emerge with any credit. Hope Lance stays around

Who's going to be taking over as Assistant Manager? We seemed to have lots of coaches at the start of the season.
