Perhaps we could keep this one as friendly as poss, (Well one can hope) Nothing wrong with a bit of banter and rivalry, but surely we can keep it in check without spitting vile! Basically, i for one hope we face Leeds in the next round and that is no disrespect to the cobblers. Having been up at the club for the draw, it was certainly the one everyone appeared to want and for good reason. Lets face it, the name, despite thier current league position has much more of a ring and excitement than anything else on offer or come to that if we drew Wigan or Hull from the premiership. Also, money wise it is an absolute no brainer and could be so welcome going forward.

I agree.....As i said apologies for offending anyone in what I said, was responding to "moron" quote, but us Leeds fans tend to overreact!
As a Cambridge resident who has supported leeds all his life, I can only echo the sentiment that I hope was demolish Nthhampton. Really would be quite a spectacle to see Histon vs Leeds at Glassworld....sums up how far you guys have come doesnt it??? Facing the greatest club on earth n all!?

Yes, i can go with that. We have achieved a lot in recent years but to be honest we havn't gained much media coverage. That should change if we face you, unless ITV prefer some lesser match to cover.

Im not even gunna bother posting on the other thread.
I cannot wait for either team although i would still rather northampton as i feel we have a MUCH bigger chance of winning(which is a compliment to leeds)
Good luck to both of you and i will be keeping tabs on the result.

I actually begrudgingly think Histon have a great chance against us...last year maybe not, but this season Gary Mac has turned us into a bit more of a footballing side, so if you get amongst us it could become a very uncomfortable affair.
I for one would also like to say that if we do get through to the 2nd round, I seriously hope the match stays at the glassworld...

If its at the glassworld then we have a chance. As teams HATE playing us at home for obvious reasons. Long ball, huge defenders & great heart and will to win.

Look forward to a really entertaining match if we do get United. It will be the biggest game our club have ever played in and yes it will help put Histon FC even more on the map. Mind you our reputation is growing quite steadily as it is. All Leeds fans will be made very welcome...if you beat The Cobblers

With regard to the draw for the next round, I would prefer the Cobblers , that way we win everyway and wont have to put up with the troublemakers and louts from Leeds

If it is Leeds and it is a lunchtime kick off on Sunday, i don't see why there should be trouble. I would have thought that given that sort of time and limited away tickets the majority of visiting fans will be genuine.
