Well I don't know how we didn't win that let alone not score!? We were much the better team first half and dominated the second. Nick was the stand out player for me, with rogan putting in his usual solid performance. Also well done to Danny Gould, cracking performance on the right wing!
It's quite evident from tonight, however, that we need a goalscorer, certainly need to have a look at the loan market. Peterborough are more than welcome to help us out seeing as we sold Jordan to them! We'll even have him back if he's not getting game time! But with Sam out for the foreseeable future and with Nick's 3 match suspension kicking in this Saturday we could be really struggling up front.
I believe Evan will be out for this weekend too and if Rogan has broken his nose from a collision tonight he too could be yet another absentee. It looks like we're going to have to dig in these next few games and if we can't get any loanees in then some of the younger players will really have to step up. Mind you, if they play like they did tonight then we'll be more than a match for most.
