I can't make the fans forum tonight so would greatly appreciate if someone who is attending could provide an overview on here.

There's a little bit here from the CEN but not a great deal - bit.ly/29WwJ7j I see they've even taken away our section on their website which was a little sad to see but I guess we aren't pulling in the punters atm. It's hard to think how we can drive up the profile of the club. A lot of stable clubs at non-league level are lucky to have the element of a strong and sizeable fan base because it serves as a main social hub for the community. I know the club have recognised this and have tried, free tickets, carveries, quizzes, fundraisers etc. But unfortunately, as far as I can see the local community either, don't care, would rather watch sky sports on a sat for their football fix or are only interested when we're successful on the field (fickle) which as we all know hasn't been the case for a long long time. It looks like as Steve said, the remaining hard-core will just have to try and enjoy what we have and what we are work towards making the club stable until hopefully, a spark comes from somewhere and perhaps we can look to become upwardly mobile again.

Do you know if there was any mention of finance? Are we likely to make it to the end of the season without publicity in the local rag about money?
On the subject of the local paper, as long as the clubs news channels, Twitter, Facebook and the website are used to keep fans up to date on happenings in the club then I don't see it as an issue.

Not sure I'm afraid? Can only go off what the CEN reported. I agree our channels are very good and efficient, with the volunteers doing a sterling job on that front but regardless, the CEN does/did provide that bit of extra coverage which never goes amiss, especially at our level. I guess also it symbolised how far we have fallen :/ but hey, as you said, not the end of the world! As for finances, I nearly mentioned it on my initial post on here. Fully clearing our debt would give us a new lease of life and would help possibly kick-start a new era of prosperity at the club. As much as I am not a fan of 4g pitches used in grounds, if there are still plans to get this going then it could be a real help and revenue generator for the club. It would also mean that the teams could train sufficiently throughout the winter months which would help performances and would mean saving money on a training venue/s.

I agree about the 4g pitch. That has to be top of the list for the directors surely?
Another loss tonight, poor.
