For what it's worth, this is my suggestion for the immediate future for Histon FC. Whatever the Boardroom situation, the playing side of matters might be, IMO........... Move Steve Fallon to the position of General Manager. Steve is an Icon. A Legend. He must not be lost. He cannot be blamed, in any way, shape, or form, for the current form or situation of the senior team. The problems were patently obvious before Fal returned. Bring in Adie Cambridge as First Team Manager/Coach ASAP. Release him from the hopeless task he has inherited at Goddy. Retain Matty Clements as Adie's assistant. He is a real asset. This Team, I hope, will create a framework which will, most importantly, keep the Stutes in this Division. Then, next season, take it from there. That's my opinion.

I understand where you are coming from Clive but not sure how you actually get Aidie Cambridge here and whether the problems we have are just footballing ones. Personally I would encourage Steve and Matt to continue developing the team bearing in mind the difficulties at the end of last season. Its been a relatively short time to build a new managerial partnership and a fairly new team. I am not sure why either of them would be here if they were not committed to the job in hand and wanting to get some success for the club. I also think its ironic that we have made more money from the FA cup this season than in the few previous, given that I suspect we are paying less to our players than previously, odd game is football.

Well it looks like the Under 18's got hammered today. The form has spread to the youth team. The days of them doing well seem to be going too. People that have been brought in to run that seem to be doing as good of a job as the first team staff.
