Time to go. Done nothing for the club except lose. Time for him, the whole backroom staff and the club secretary to go. The Youth Team got hammered tonight as well. So much for the people that they've brought in to run that. SHAMBLES!!!!! Us supporters deserve better!!

More like the 6/7 fans left supporting the club that use this forum haven't bothered to post anything, haven't been on, or are so fed up they've given up.

I'm not entirely sure what Fallon does on match days. He is not present during the pre match warm up and he does not impart anything on the team during the game. He just stands there with his arms crossed. So if he was to go I'm not sure what would change. For me the culprit is Clements. He (and Day) run the pre match warm up and he is the one who gives instructions from the sideline. He is also the one who brought most of Goddys team from last year who are ultimately not good enough this season.
With the current set up there are no signs of anything getting better.
I will continue to support the club at games but like HFC08Stutes sort of mentioned in another post I would really have to reconsider if we were to be relegated.

Knowing that there is no money at the club I wouldn't want the job of managing the team, I'm not going to knock anyone at the club players, coaches or directors. I agree that losing each game is not entertaining, we do seem to be boys against men (physiclay), yet I've seen us pass the ball keep possesion just unable to add the finishing touch. I'll be there next home game and until the season ends, and next season no doubt.

I don't care how little money we have , we should be doing better than this. I'm in favour of a change now , simply because over the past 12 months we have lost a huge number of games and there is no sign of anything improving. A new management team might help turn the season around , and it certainly can't make things any worse. If I was local I would still be going to games for the moment but I can see why people don't.

Agreed, we can't keep using money as an excuse. Our finances have been well documented and are no secret and everyone who has joined the club knows what the situation is. For me things are made a little worse now that we get basically no media coverage. Previously the manager or someone from the club may have spoken to the fans via interview about what is happening about the situation but unfortunately there is nothing now. Would be nice to see a statement from Fallon or the board but I won't hold my breath!

Ok, does anyone know of any volunteer players, coaches or Manager that could do better than what we have?

Can't say that I do but I guess that's why I am not a manager/coach or on the board at a football club.

As Kinfan points out who else would do the task of the few at GWS - trying to run a team of youngsters low on confidence and experience. Would a change of coaching staff, whether it be MC, SD or SF moving out make any difference? I'm not sure, all have a reasonable background in developing youngsters into team players. Money buys class - maybe the appointment of Fat Sam would bring the cash in??? ⚽️💷💷💷🏐💳💳💳🍷

Something needs to change , I don't think we can carry on as we are just because it might be difficult to find replacements. There are also teams in this league that get crowds far less than ours but they still manage to find some "adults" to play for them so I don't understand why out team is so young and inexperienced season after season.

I wouldn't say lack of money is being used as an excuse per say, it's just the way it is. This type of level is well suited to non-league journeymen who are still looking to earn a few bob whilst approaching the end of their playing career. Those types of players, know how to win games and are fantastic leaders on the pitch, we just don't have that.
I do agree that based on snippets that we've seen, we should be more competitive, but it's clear that other teams have players that, at this level at least, know how to turn up and do the business, even if some of them have been dreadful. Somehow, the lads need picking up, I'm not sure how but they do. The amount of times this season we have seemingly been well within a game only to go and concede 2 or 3 quickfire goals is unbelievable. It seems heads drop to easily and that is a huge problem which massively highlights the lack of oldheads/leadership on the pitch.
Not sure where that 5+ grand earnt from the cup run is going but if there are no urgent bills that need paying, we could really do with getting an experienced head or two in.

Sound words HFC 08. However I'm not sure that either Norwich Utd or Lowestoft have cashed up yet....... it's all a big domino effect!!

I don't know if it's true or if they still do if so, but the club secretary and physio used to be full time and paid for by the club. If that's true and is carrying on then that's ridiculous! Stopping that would save money. It could of course be nonsense pub talk and they aren't full time.
I'm 100% certain if the job was advertised there would be applicants for the job, whether they'd do any better is unknown, but they'd have to be atrocious to do worse then the current setup.
The lack of money to pay players is well documented. It's no excuse for having a team that looks completely unorganised. For example; Max York is not a centre back (debateable if he's even good enough for this level), but he's constantly left exposed defensively because the team is all over the place. If the team was organised then maybe you could reduce the amount he's exposed.
The under 18's got battered again this week, this time by Godmanchester who hadn't won a game all season. Matt Clements and the people he's brought in to run that must be copying the first team.

Still think we should stay with the current management team but surely we must change something, either in the way we prepare, the way we set up, etc. just play to a pattern within our limits. For example because we ship goals lets play a formation that enables us to be more compact defensively I know I bash on about 442 but its simple and easy to see anyone who is not playing the game. Can we manipulate the pitch size within the laws of the game to give us a home advantage? at the moment we present a beautiful playing surface and huge amounts of space to visiting teams which not surprisingly they seem to enjoy. Surely there must be enough footballing brains at the club to try new things cos what we are doing at the moment ain't working.
