Well what a crackin performance particularly in the first half. Heavy legs towards the later stages but we fought well. Made light work of the penalties too. Not overly fussed about the league cup but when its a local derby you always want to come out on top and we did.
Boys again proving that they can do it, we just need to see it in the league. Based on tonights performance we are absolutely not a bottom of the table side.

Good to have won that one after being so dominant for 60 minutes

Thought we played well last night. It's hard to single out the best players as they all put in a shift but I'd say Jos and Cameron were excellent. Still room for improvement but was encouraged by what I saw and how the team bounced back from the smashing last week. Really, really need to get points in the league now. The game could have been wrapped up had Yeomans not thought he was Ronaldo but we beat City at 'their' place so I can't complain too much! Agreed as mentioned above, nice to hear Fallons voice as I'd forgotten what it sounded like. One criticism of the management team. It was clear that some of the players were starting to tire after about 70 mins and still we used no subs. Don't understand why Fallon doesn't like using the subs because it was evident that when City did, it lifted their team. I won't get too excited as it was only one game but if we perform like that in the league we will be ok! Finally, I'd like to thank two ex Histon players, Charlie Day and Enol for missing their penalties and helping us to win the game ;-)

Agree with what has been said so far, we seemed really fired up until we tired towards the end but even then we kept at it. So my thought is can we produce the same levels of motivation and energy in our league matches, cos if we can with a bit more concentration on the basics we should ok. Still need to finish any chances we get though.
