So fallon is to step back from managerial duties to become director of football. I personally think this is a wise move. The results in the league havent been what we'd hoped for, however in my mind, there is no doubting that steve is still integral to this football club and the work that he does behind the scenes could prove vital in finally moving the club forward and going by the club statement, there's certainly a lot going on and plenty to get his teeth into.
I have no doubt that lance is capable of stepping up into the role and getting the team moving up the table and realising the full potential this squad has. Im sure clements and day will forge a strong team between them. Onwards and upwards I say!

About time he went!
Wait and see approach being taken by me regarding Lance. Did excellent work with the keepers when he was here with Page. Still reckon a complete clear out would have been good, which would have completely gotten rid of the whole negative environment at the club and probably brought in a new, fresh approach. Very skeptical based on previous history about any of the stuff Fallon said in his statement. A female scholarship, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, St Neots tried that and it got nowhere. New Academy, well the people running it seem to be struggling based on the results...... Just as I right this we concede.....terrific.

Looks like a good move long term even tho we need results short term. Glad Lance Key is back and think Steve Fallon will do good work in his new role. Have to believe that Lance would not be coming back unless thought he could make progress, why would anyone return just to get a hard time? So good luck to all.

No, I sit there and pay my money and have a drink in the bar to help the club. Hearing all the wonder stories from the 'fans' who think everything is brilliant at the club.
Here are facts about club.
2 relegation's in 3 seasons. 276 league goals conceded in the last 3 and a bit seasons, only 160 scored. Bottom of the league. Awful football being played. Low attendances (I do go and try to get others to go with me, often laughed at when I ask). Youth team making zero progress in FA youth Cup again. Close the academy that produced players for a development centre 'academy'. No organisation defensively. Football being launched skyward as the means to attack all the time, despite having the smallest and youngest team for the past few seasons. Paying wages to club secretary and physio, but can't pay players. Ladies team 3rd bottom with awful goal difference. Ex-players like Nick Freeman good enough for the football league, but didn't play like that for us. Former manager (Page), just won the league with his new club, but got us relegated. Bringing in a manager who left his old club due to doing a poor job with them, does the same with us (Fallon).

Ewstute world - 'It's all Steve Fallons fault' (Brexit, The Fall of the Roman Empire, the IceAge, Trumps hairstyle, 9/11 and he shot J.R. (allegedly!!) Meanwhile in the real world (of supporters of HFC) the whole club is struggling and there are more than one finger pointing at one fellow. And of course this one fellow has only the best at heart for the club and the players, past and present who go on to play higher standard of football. Why not get off your 'Fallon Out' soapbox and say something positive or enjoy a Saturday afternoon in the library gaining more irrelevent facts or maybe get a flight to see Brian Page and his league winning team. As for sitting in the bar - I'm lead to believe the club don't get anything back from bar sales........cheers!

I know this is easy to say with hindsight, but Lance should have been appointed as manager when Brian left. I think he would have deserved it given all the effort he put in to assist Brian. ANd he knew the players and setup. We might still be in the league above if that had happened, who knows.
I think Lance will do well, with the benefit of Steve's experience in the background.
