F@#k sake. Why do we go from looking like a competitive side to self destruct mode. Ok so they are by far the best team that we have played this season but, you don't go from drawing 1-1 to losing the next meeting 6-1. It shouldnt happen. I know we bemoan our lack of goals but the defence were an utter shambles. The runs that they were allowed to make in behind were a disgrace. 4 of their goals were identical and yet we didnt bother to do anything about it.

Going forward, we were better as the game went on. Jake, matty, jos and zouks all put in a good shift and poor nial who was exposed all game made some decent stops.

I can take getting beat, clearly we all can as we continue to turn up! But when you put in a defence display like that, it saps most the little enjoyment there is to be had from the game.

Agreed. They looked a decent side, big and quick and knew how to finish but we gave them too much room and time. It was difficult for us to win either first or second ball and the basics of marking and organisation appeared to be missing completely. Too many unforced errors. BUT we can only try to progress with each league game so back to it Saturday.

God, looking back at it doesn't make it any prettier. The amount of space we gave them is unbelievable. We just let them run onto us. Surely management can see this and do something about it!?
