Disappointed with the result because for the first time this season I really believe we deserved at least a point. Had our number 10 not fluffed his lines twice with 1 on 1 chances we would have won. Aylesbury were nothing special, just a team of experienced heads who were physical. Thought the new lad was very very good and will be a great asset to our team if he continues with performances like that. Our keeper also performed very well. Overall, happy with what I saw just wish we could play for more than 45 minutes. Possibly think a change of captain might need to happen. Max is not enough of a leader for me to be wearing the armband.

Turned into a good watch after a shocking first half, wonder why we did not start looking interested until we were 2 nil down, I guess what ever was said at half time should have been said before the start of the game. Must be frustrating as a manager to see that happen so for me the players have to hold their hands up, because they showed what they are capable of for 45 minutes. Agree with histonfan01 about the players who stood out but would also add Watson who always puts in a decent shift.

Same things to say really. Another top half of the table team that really were average at the very best. However, yet again sloppy defending at the back for their 2 goals. There wasnt enough bite in the midfield and up front either.
Second half we came out how we should have started. On the front foot, more fire in the belly and a better shape. Goal was well taken but had we been more clinical with the chances created /positions we got in to and not had a rush of blood to the head we could have easily notched 4/5 goals.
Today was better but we need that complete performance now, such as the one against lowestoft. We still have 32 games left this season but each one that goes by without a point or points is a missed opportunity. We need to start putting points on the table.
