We have 5 pubs in a stretch of about 100 metres in the High Street, so no probs with pubs.
They're all around 3/4- 1 mile away from the ground.
We have a sixth called the Railway Vue, literally across the road from the ground
Parking will be bad to be honest, you wolud be better parking in the village and walking about half a mile or a mile to the ground

There will be parking down the road as we have none at the club. The village has six pubs and a hotel bar.

Well everything you will use on matchday (should you win) will ensure a friendly welcome, without a question. The pub that is nearest to the ground (and most likely to be absolutely jammed full) is the Railway Vue literally 2 minutes walk to the ground. If you want more variety then best bet is Highstreet which is a bit of a walk down the road and has The Boot, The Barley Mow and the Red Lion. All pretty nice pubs, and are probably your best bets seeing that it looks like The Railway Vue will be absolutely jam packed full. As for parking well see this website, www.friendsoftherec.co.uk/HFC%20car%20parking.pdf

T o be honest If we beat Northampton I cant see that they will allow 1.5k Leeds fans in a village to see a game. I honestly know that there will be no bother but the Police for the last 2 seasons have moved most of our games to unsociable times and dates. Not that this has worked as we still sell our ticket allocations and we still get into the pubs.

They let 1800 cambridge fans here... and theres more likely to be trouble at that game.

Are you serious about you being a village because if you are I cant seriously seeing the police letting this going ahead Of course we're a village and yes you will be playing here IF (and in my view its a very big IF) you manage to beat the cobblers - the only reason it will not be Sat at 3.00 pm is if the TV change it to Friday like they did with your last game

J Smith you are obviously not a drinker or not old enough or don't know the village as well as you think, what happened to the Rose and Crown and the King William (Bill) the latter being an easy 20 minute stroll to the ground.

Bloody hell kinfan, I was just giving some friendly advice with information from my Dad and off websites. If you really care that much about it then you need to sort it out! As with the drinking side, no not in pubs, but I have been notable to have them at parties. God I break the rules don't I! ;D
