Dour game really, point each was ok I suppose. They had about six reasonable players through their spine who did enough. We made to many unforced errors again and failed to put much pressure on their back four, where their no5. headed the ball away virtually unchallenged for about 80 minutes until Matty Allen started getting close to him (once again can anyone explain this). They fell over quite a lot and managed the ref quite well(not pretty but it worked). Not sure why Jake was subbed.
Seems to be hard for us now cos I think Aylsebury will continue to gather more points before the end of the season.

Was a pretty horrendous game. Didn't look like we had any game plan, never got a rhythm going to our play. We defended pretty well, other than the corner we conceded from but saying that they didn't offer a lot going forward. However, neither did we! Our final ball was terrible and we reverted to long ball far too many times. At Marlow, we apparently put on a professional performance, so it's a shame that went out the window today.
Will take a miracle now to stay up. Have heard Fleet are in dire straights so that may be our saving grace come to the AGM but if not ... we'll certainly have the best ground in the UCL next season. I hope our fall from grace can at least end there but you fear maybe not. With City looking like they're facing the drop as well, maybe now would be a good time to 'extend the olive branch' and have them back at the GW? St Ives hasn't gone well for them and they could face a hefty drop in numbers unless they become more local to their name sake again and we could definatley do with the extra income!

Yes , I totally agree that both Histon and City would benefit from a groundshare next season if both teams get relegated as now looks highly likely. There is talk of a pyramid restructure in 2018 , adding an additional division at City's current level which would make promotion back up next season much easier so if Histon could get their act together then perhaps all is not lost.
