Crickey - This board - is comin' like a ghost board ! where is everybody ?

4 friendlies, all pretty poor. Players unwilling to take a risk (or a shot) for fear of missing or making a mistake.

As the games suggest - I hope these are pre-season experiments.

Saw Goddy drew with Yaxley, but were the better team and Newmarket look very strong.

I guess we'll see soon.

Yeah such a shame but I guess the further down you go the less interest you get! Maybe it'll pick up during the season? As I said before, St Neots was the first game I could get too, and I thought we looked organised and efficient, could do with more of a goal threat and hopefully, we can utilise the tall fella up top with Carmen and co playing off him. I Could have gone to the City game but me a few others said it would probably be more of a leg stretcher rather than a competitive game (don't even think it was the invitation cup this year) owing to our season starting tomorrow, therefore we decided against it. I'm sure Lance and the team would have had more than half an eye on the big one tomorrow and it's important we get off to a good start. As he said, we need to hit the ground running and set the tone for what will hopefully be a good season!

Chin up folks!!!x According to 'hard core' folk involved in your Club then 300ish crowds have graced your games so far....nowt to be sniffed at!x Cambridge United's fixture against Southend on Saturday was a huge disappointment to the fans too based on the poor attendance...especially as it was in aid of Simon Dobbin and named Dobbo Day. However....I never heard that 'campaign' from the Club end or in Media or it wasn't blitzed/promoted as best possible it seems so you get what you get based on what you give....!x To have the 'support' you have at this stage and level...is a good thing...even if it is only in the real world...and not this 'virtual' one....gimme the real thing every time!!x Have a happy season all!x
